Well made and lovely colour - given 4 stars instead of 5 as every time I touched/picked up the planters black colouring came off onto my hands.

Looks great and very well made
This planter is perfect in the garden. It comes ready constructed, so you can get straight in with filling out up. The black stain means all the foliage and flowers really stand out against it. It's big enough for three pots on each side of the central spar. I am going to line it next summer and plant it up with herbs. I like the fact it looks substantial when in place, but is easily moved around to find the perfect home (when empty - I didn't try to lift it filled). I would definitely buy it again. I'd also consider buying a bigger one in raised bed style if the company made one.

Lovely strong garden trough

excellent price for the quality
Was so pleased with first purchase we ordered 3 more to create a 'boundary' between us and our neighbour's front gardens. Lined them and then filled with appropriate soil after choosing what plants we wanted in each section. (grit and sandy for lavender and ericaceous for azaleas). They look smart and we're delighted with the black wood stain that matches the colour scheme of our house. Looking at other plants the value is exceptional.

I have updated my review 3 years later as I am pleased to report that the planter looks as good as new so I am upgrading my review to 5 stars as it has stood the test of time This is my original review…. A lot smaller than I was expecting although the wood is strong it wasn’t worth the money but the worst thing is it leaves black over everything! Hands, clothes, patio! Does the job for now but I will be replacing

Great planter
This Planter is brilliant. True to the measurements posted, and a great size. It seems really sturdy. I had a slight delivery issue (caused during transit I'm sure) but the customer service was excellent, I got same day responses and resolution. All in all, I'd say great product for the money. Would recommend.
