Coco (Big Golden Books) : Disney Storybook Art Team, Alegria, Malin: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Arrived on time and in Good Condition - Book was in good condition and as described. Arrived on time Review: Re-tells the story well and has very good images - After watching the film my daughter asked fir a book to read st bedtime. This one has very good images and covers the story well but the vocabulary is very basic. There is very little description. I guess to keep it short the authors had to cut all the non-essential bits. For a child that learns to read a book with more developed vocabulary and richer text would be good.

We bought the book first, then we watched the movie. So my 2.5 year old daughter just referred to this book as “the book about skeletons.” Her grandma was shocked, however, that we're showing this horrible scary book to a young child. I told her, “The kid doesn’t know it’s scary or horrible unless you tell her it is.” The point is, if your kid’s grandparents will be reading this book with your kid, then maybe not the best book pictures-wise. Otherwise, it’s a great book with a wonderful storyline. So after watching the movie and every time after reading the book, my 2.5 year old daughter says that she will always remember her daddy. Now let me go cry my eyes out because of how touching this is.

My family and I watched the movie and the next day I looked on Amazon for books, and bought this one. It was such a wonderful movie, and this book does a nice job telling it that is easy to follow & read. My daughter, age 7, loves reading it and loves when I read it as well. Highly recommended!
