For SAS setups, these are NOT for SATA systems
These drives are perfect for my SAS RAID-6 Array paired with an Adaptec 8x series RAID adaptor card. I get around 350-400/MBps between servers over my LAN connection from my RAID-6 array. And get ~2.0-2.5/GBps over the local SAS bus. Just note that the description clearly states that these are 12/Gbps SAS drives that are keyed to the SAS standard. Meaning, these drives will NOT work with regular SATA systems. You will need to make sure your system supports the SAS standard. You can use SATA and SAS drives in a SAS setup, but you CAN NOT use SAS drives in a SATA setup. See attached photo for the plug types. If you have a SAS setup, I highly recommend getting these drives.

Arrived Damaged
Obviously, the drive I received was not new as advertised. The molding around the connections was damaged and I'm pretty sure I know why it would be. The data and power connections usually have a small gap between them but that wasn't the case with this drive, there was some kind of bridge in between meaning it wouldn't work for separate cables nor a unified connection you find in an external drive enclosure or NAS device. Perhaps it is proprietary for some specific enclosure or NAS, but the listing didn't state that, so buy at your own peril. If you're looking for this to fit a computer, external enclosure, or NAS, don't buy it, it won't allow you to connect it and you will only have to return it. I've been an IT professional supporting servers, networks, and cybersecurity for over 40 years and have never seen anything like this, it simply won't work for 99% of buyers so would recommend you look elsewhere.
