Seems to be a pretty good quality product. The cover is made of study plastic that seems like it will not break after a couple of uses like some others. I like the way the screws that clamp the wire are large and have a bit of serration to hold the wire firm. It would be nice however if both the wire clamps were on the same side. It does make tightening one of them a pain if the holder is vertical. One is on top and the other is on the bottom. Makes the second one hard to tighten if space is limited. Overall it will do the job nicely.

This is a really good fuse holder! It’s more sturdy than cheaper clear plastic fuse holder that has the two bolts on each end. But not quite as strong as the premium fuse holder that has the fuse mounted at an angle. I used this fuse which came WITH the 200 amp large style fuse for the “Big 3 upgrade” to a Chevy avalanche! It worked great! If you’re looking for a good big 3 kit, buy the 1/0 kit from Recoil, the fuse from skar, and make sure you get extra heat shrink, wire loom/tech flex, and especially extra ferrules. Also, the recoil kit comes with a good ofc copper in a 6 foot red, 2 - 4 foot black ofc 1/0. It’s the best deal for the quality I found!

People loves to hate on Skar but this fuse holder really does work nicely it’s as solid as it gets really any time you put something together like this with a bad ground IT IS GOING TO MELT if you take your time and do it right it will work very well I’ve had this hooked up in my truck for months now and I’ve had no issues at all not once fits great looks great do it right and you’ll get good results
