Saw this on television - and was surprised to see that it really works. So simple yet amazing. No more garlic stuck under fingernails or garlic smelling hands. Can't rate it high enough.

This product took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. It came directly from some random address in China. The product when I took it out of the packaging appeared to covered in some sort of toxic smelling dust and I was tempted to simply throw it away out of fear for my health. It does not work, is made of very flimsy rubber and totally inferior to the alternatives. I had owned a similar product before so was familiar with the rubber tube concept of removing garlic skin, however this one is too flimsy to do the job. It almost crumbles in your hand it is that flimsy. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Waste of money and useless delivery

I thought this would be a good cheap addition to my kitchen, it is easy to use but harder to clean - just fiddly but it was inexpensive so not bothered

works for the 1st garlic bud, after that you have to clean it out completely of the remaining skins in the tube prevent the silicone from making contact with the next bud to be peeled. Easier to use the Jamie Oliver method and squeeze the whole bud through a press.

I was very curious how a product so primitive - essentially, a rubber cylinder - can do the job of peeling garlic cloves, and because of its (relatively) good reviews, I decided to buy one and see for myself how it works. At first, it seemed not to work, but after some getting used to, it actually peels some 70% of the cloves well. Repeat for the unsuccessful cloves, and most likely all of them will be peeled the second time. Conclusion: it's far from perfect but for such a simple device, it does save you the time & discomfort of doing this chore manually.

A great little gadget. Something so simple that does a great job. Garlic peeling in fiddly and messy this little thing makes it so easy. I have now bought one for all the family

first you have to press very hardso the skin can come off... 2 tubes were sent damaged, customer services agreed to replace after receiving items i explained i was going on holidays and cannot have the hassle of sending them back which will cost me the same price. But they needed to expect them first, am not as bothered as themabout 3 pounds each. I would be happy to pay 50p for one item but not more than that!

It's just a plastic tube which is a bit of a laugh really as a garlic peeler - something to buy if you are just throwing money at a simple task! I bought it as a present but its not the best thing I've ever bought.

Its nothing, no miracle garlic peeler. Awful smell, cheap rubber pipe that's been cut into 6", the rubber smell won't leave my fingers and my room stinks really bad. Total waste of money.Amazon, I'm super surprised you've included this in your goods.wish i could give a zero or a minus

A vrai dire, il faut commencer par prendre son couteau et peler l'ail de toutes ses parties sèches et dures pour ne laisser que la peau transparente qui adhère à la gousse. Cette peau, oui, l'appareil l'enlève efficacement. Je ne suis donc qu'à moitié satisfait.
