want to replace existing pull cord switch in closet toilet - only have x2 live wires - the neutral is on the light circuit - do the instructions help?

Connect N, L with power; Connect N, L’ with light. Please check if your side can solve.

would this be activated by a boiler switching on if fitted in garage

Do you connect it with a boiler or? Normally it's used to switch the lights. If you wiring with a light and fitted in gaarage, it won't be activated by a boilder. if you plan to connect with a boiler, I don't not suggest.

In my bathroom i have one live and one neutral wire, i connected the n to n and the l to l’ the light just keeps buzzing and flashing?

I blieve there's something wrong by the wiring connection. Please connect L and N with power and connect N and L' with the light. Please check the instruction manual, there's a connection diagram.

Does this work through a glass window?
