Has anyone experienced any ripping, tearing, leaking, etc? I live in New England and want to know how this does in heavy rain and/or snow.

I live in buffalo I got heavy snowfall and recently we have had hard rain. Top does not leak. The top goes together well I have not had any issues.

Everyone says wait for a warm day to install. define warm. because my se texas warm is probably a lot hotter than michigan warm. is 76f ok?

Yes, that temp will work. Bit of advise, zip ALL zippers first before installing top into door-surrounds and tub rails. Hope this helps..

How hard is it to completely take this top off?

I love the top it was nicely made, very durable easy to take off takes maybe 5 min, the worst part is the front bar it is screws and not the pull tabs like the hard top. Then the rest is just basically u strap and pull off. Take off is easy but it was tough for me to put on, it took me about 30-45 min it might have just been me but I'm not sure.

I have a jeep wrangler 2015 with the freedom hard top. What accessaries do I need to buy in order to install this soft top?

The correct door surrounds are critical. Talk to the vendor of the soft top directly - Bestop?? I would not just purchase because Amazon says it will fit.
