This little kit that has been upgraded has the ability to draw out the ink that's already in the printhead thus making it ready to be refilled with fresh ink. I especially like the fact that the callings are situated so that you could mark them accordingly to the type of colored inks that you are going to put in them. My first one was yellow and black so I ate marked the one side yellow and the other third black and they have stood up to washing so I'm very happy especially the fact that they can exert tremendous amount of suction pressure to draw the ink from the funnel into the ink heads. This beats buying very expensive printer ink heads for the HP 7600 and other in that line. But the truth be known, I got this HP 7600 from an estate sale for $30 oh, wait $25 according to my wife. It needed some cleaning with the tubes that go from the lower cartridge reservoirs up to the printhead and once that was done I investigated to see if I could get another set of hoses. I think I have found some pretty good close proximity of hoses that would work on this and I would be free of these older ones that may get cracked and brittle. I believe the new ones are quite expensive so I'm looking for alternatives

Worked great for one printhead. The other was too far gone to revive. Highly recommend giving this a shot before getting a new printhead.

This kit has helped me a lot, I have been able to maintain my heads, I have also been able to clean them easily, you just have to pay attention to the instructions so that you do it correctly. An important point to mention is that you must firmly squeeze and hold the funnel so that when you can apply pressure with the syringe, unnecessary air does not enter. In short, the air must circulate slowly so that it can suck the ink. Once you learn to use it correctly, you will not have any problems. I recommend it.

I purchased this to clean 3 printheads from my HP Designjet printer. The part you clip onto the printhead was a little difficult to put on, but I was able to get it on and clean my first two printheads. Then after cleaning the third printhead the printhead attachment part snagged the cable and ripped it. I didn't even know I needed to be careful of that part. There is no way to fix it so I now have to replace the printhead for like $100.

I was skeptical that using this kit would help at all, but was shocked that after spending several hours working on my printheads, I was actually able to print again! They aren't perfect, but at least I'm getting ink out of all 8 heads now.

the funnel does not bring those black plugs, it is loose and fails to work, doesn’t have a communication to inform to seller that it was incomplete before write a negative review. So to let everyone know if doesn’t have that plugs don’t use it. I make a mess

Shipped and received as promised. The product functions as described and fixed the problem print head. An additional syringe needle would be very helpful in clearing the funnel tubes after use.

I purchased this item intending to clean my existing print heads. There are no instructions for cleaning and no solution for cleaning is included. It appears this item is intended to fill not clean. It is useless.
