ESR for iPad Pro 12.9 Case (6th/5th Generation, 2022/2021), Black

I’ve been through a LOT of iPad cases and this is the only one that meets all of my wants! My favorite design feature is sturdy and stable grooves in which to angle the iPad in 6 positions. Each one holds securely and supportively. My second favorite is the raised screen feature: the base of the cover is strong enough to support the added pressure of a raised screen. If I have to find a downside, it is the weight. For me, it’s not a concern at all. Fantastic design!

I had my doubts at first, but when I opened the box and saw how carefully it was packages, I thought to myself so far so good. When I took the case out I loved the feel and quality of it. I got this for my 12.9 as I take it everywhere with me and wanted something first and foremost protective, secondly I wanted versatility as I practically live in my truck. The case has not disappointed in the slightest. The price is amazing for all the angles you get and the tablet can be pulled separately from the rest of the case all the while still being protected.The protection as a whole for the camera, makes me feel better and even when I can remove my 12.9 from the main case, it still remains protected and unobtrusive. I have been through many different cases through the years and found most lacking in protection and quality. They were bulky at best and didn’t offer very much security. My PaperLike screen savers wouldn’t work well with the cases and I was getting very frustrated at the money wasted.I have put this case through the gauntlet this week and it has held up way past my expectations.I do recommend this for any professional or outdoorsy person. It looks professional for the office, but offers the rugged protection needed for hiking and camping ( within reason as this isn’t waterproof or dust proof.) I solve the dust and water situation with a USB-C port plug that solves the problem. The cover will automatically put my tablet to sleep when closed and the cover stays closed via the magnet.On a side note, I do not generally hand out 5 stars, however this case deserves 5 stars and a review from someone who puts it through its paces like I have. Good job to the designers and manufacturers of this case. You get quality over quantity.

I highly recommend this magnetic iPad case. I needed a new case that would let me use my iPad in both horizontal landscape and vertical portrait positions without the iPad constantly falling flat, as it did with my old case. I play some games that requite the iPad being in the vertical position, and I like to be able to rotate the iPad depending on whether I'm editing and viewing vertical or horizontal photos. This case lets you do that! As the iPad attaches to the case magnetically, you just remove the iPad and rotate it vertically or horizontally and attach it back to the case. And with two magnetic flaps that attach to multiple grooves, you can use the iPad in multiple angles, and it never ever falls down. It's perfect for my needs. It has a lot features that take a little getting used to, but after about a week, it becomes second nature. It's a bit heavier than my old case, but absolutely worth it for all its features and the way it lets me use the iPad in so many ways. I took a short video to show what I'm talking about, including how to remove the iPad from the magnetic backing so you can rotate it. Hope you find it useful.

So far I really like it. Sturdy. I have the 2021 iPad Pro Max and it fits perfectly. I use it for digital art, writing, reading, games and basic internet stuff. This case works great for every use I need it for. Positioning your iPad is easy using either the pencil holder piece or the section right below it. Both open and fit into the slots easily. I haven’t had it pop out or fall closed and I’m not super gentle with it.My only concern, as I haven’t had this long enough to speak on wear/tear and longevity, is the parts that are bent repeatedly (see pics) are very thin and flimsy material. Over time, I see these 3 areas becoming cracked, torn, and weakened. How long that will take? Who knows, but it will eventually. I don’t have a solution to prolong or avoid the inevitable, but I would buy this one again.Was never a fan of the elastic pencil holder (on any case I’ve had), but it holds it in like it’s intended. Because it isn’t flat on the case, I can see this being an area where pencils can get damaged if not paying attention.Overall, solid 4 stars.

This tablet holder is amazing. Well worth the investment. I use it to stand the tablet on my couch, or on my coffee table. The magnet is strong enough for the support to not move even on a soft uneven surface. The tablet also adheres securely to the stand and it won't fall off. It can disconnect from the main case and be stuck to your fridge so you can watch videos while cooking. In the disconnected state, it still has a cover, but has a slim profile. I have an apple pencil and I got my tablet originally for digital art, and it doesn't bother me that the apple pencil doesn't have a slot in the charging area. It works well to keep it in the provided pocket, and it stays put. You can still charge the apple pencil through the case if you did want to put it against the side of the case. This design probably also allows the tablet not to take up too much space. The material is not quite fabric but has a bit more of a soft plastic-y feel so I feel like it it should have some water resistance. I haven't tried drawing on it yet, but it has many angle possibilities which can be used for both the horizontal and vertical direction. When using the stand in the horizontal direction the tablet stays with the camera to the left and in the vertical direction, with the camera at the top. The magnet won't stick if flipped the opposite way. But that does not matter. I also just really like how the main case's bezels are uniform throughout the perimeter, which makes the tablet look cute and put-together, and not have awkward-looking dips in the bezel.

The features of this iPad cover sounded great and after using my new one these past two months, I have found these unique features quite useful. I am an avid iPad user, and my current iPad is my 5th. I use them all the time.The good: the fit is perfect for my 12.9” iPad Pro. All the control buttons lined up perfectly and work well. The multiple options for setting the viewing angle are much better than any of my previous covers over the past ten years of excessive iPad use. Other covers were decent, and did the job, but this cover provides 9 different positions and I really like how each position locks into place magnetically. The position remains firm while using and when I pick the iPad up and walk somewhere. When I fold my iPad back to flat position, it requires just a bit of intentional effort, which is good. The magnetic attachment hold your chosen position firmly, but is not difficult to disengage. My next favorite feature of this particular cover is one I’ve never seen or heard about with other covers, and I really like it when I’m laying down or reclining on my couch. The entire iPad position of the cover is magnetically attached to the second part which sets and holds your chosen position. You can separate the two and elevate the height of the iPad on the position stand, giving you full view of the screen above your lap. I thought this elevated position might be unstable but it is not. Maybe a bit top heavy in this position but still stable. The ability to hold the iPad in either landscape and portrait position is also handy. I use several apps that only display in portrait orientation. This cover seems quite durable and time will tell. So far so good. The brown color I choose is nice, but having several choices of color is a nice option. I’ve not used the feature to magnetically attached the iPad to the fridge, but the magnets are strong and I can see how some might like this feature. The small pocket that holds a stylist pen is handy as well. Being a left-handed guitar player, my right-hand finger tips do not accurate activate the iPad touch feature, so when I need a precise touch, I grab my stylus, neatly tucked into this pocket.The not so good: over all, I’m getting use to, or more familiar with the unique foldability of this cover. It is not typical of all the others I’ve had. All my previous covers simply opened like a book and set into grooves to hold the position. This covers requires you to open and fold the cover all the way behind the iPad face, then adjust one of the two support flaps to lock in to your selected angle. This is not bad, but does take a second or two to open and set the iPad, and I have to look, think, and typically, open it in an upside down position, then rotate it all to set properly for use. I’m sure I will eventually get used to this and it will become effortless. This fact is what makes this cover so unique and, allows it to work so well. This cover is bulkier than my previous covers, but not by much. The two angle setting flap stands, and odd way to open up and set, will take a bit of getting used to. I’ll get comfortable with this soon, but it’s taking some time. The last, not so good, comment is the description of “vegan leather”. Many product use this term, but it is nothing leather-like at all. It’s vinyl, or something similar, and has a distinct vinyl feel. Nothing leather about it.Overall, I really like this cover, and after two months of use, it’s getting easier to operate quickly. The magnets that hold the position firmly, and the ability to elevate the iPad, are my favorite pluses of this cover. Seems like a quality product that should last the rest of this iPads useful life.

I usually find it kind of dumb to see people being effusive over random products online, but I can admit when something is worth getting excited over. I don’t know anything about ESR, but I can say that this iPad case is awesome.Admittedly, it’s heavy (bought the 12.9”, so weight might be different for smaller versions); but that’s only if you keep the back on all the time. It’s very sturdy, has magnets in all the right places, and basically takes care of every concern you might ever have about your iPad. This is one of the few products I’m excited to use every time.A few details:1. The grooves where the case props itself up are deep and magnetic, and the feet that go into them are sturdy, so this is one of the few cases like this that will never slip shut while you’re trying to work.2. The tolerances are tight. The iPad fits snugly (might have to squeeze it in the first time you put it on), and the case feels like a second skin afterwards, whether the back is on or not.3. The magnets are strong! Even though the back is technically separate, it never feels like a separate piece. Still feels like a solid slab when you carry it all together.4. You can use it hard in any position. Like I said, the magnets are strong, and even the two maneuverable flaps are solid.I really can’t imagine anyone regretting this purchase.

This case is extremely sturdy, elegant and stylish. That described exactly what I’m looking for when it comes to the protection gear in my iPad. I take mine to school and work and I need something that is not bulky but still able to provide all the necessities above.The case comes in a great purple! I was surprised when I saw it in person, I feel there’s a crowd to please when it’s off the bat a color selection with more than just plain black (nothing wrong with that!).The quality material of this case is great, it is not cheaply made and provides a good grip. I feel good having my iPad in it due to its how solid and soft the material seems to be so far.The magnet is the second part that surprised me when I was setting up my case with my iPad. It was a snug fit to leave no room for accidents. The stand is able to hold the iPad without any issues in the many positions as seen in my pictures. The magnet adheres to whatever preset you select for the case to mount itself to.The many styles to use the case is neat! I am able to have more selections of where the iPad sits because with other cases if you move by any means the iPad would fall flat! With the ESR case, that never happened. I’ve used it while in bed to watch Netflix, Hulu or YouTube and this case will provide different angles to be within eye view and not looking down like I used to. Another thing I like is that you can set the iPad at your knees to able able to type and that’s even sturdy too. I have used this to type up notes.So for me as of today, this ESR iPad Case gets 5/5 stars.

I got this case and paid twice of that of simple ones as I liked the multi functionality - vertical horizontal raised and the various multi positions if the holder. While I was skeptical the product exceeded my expectations and I can only recommend this case, high quality material, multi functional and looks and feels great

Faccio questa recensione dopo oltre due anni di utilizzo ogni singolo giorno ( le foto che vedete sono state scattate oggi e dimostrano come dopo due anni di utilizzo intenso i materiali non si siano minimamente rovinati )La custodia è veramente comoda permette di posizionare l’iPad in tantissime posizioni, la Apple Pencil si calamita senza problemi e non si stacca facilmente .Le posizioni che usi più spesso sono quella più bassa e quella più altaLa più bassa la uso per disegnare, quindi anche facendo pressione l’iPad rimane fermo e stabile. Nella posizione più alta invece la utilizzo per presentare qualcosa ai clienti o quando uso l’iPad come secondo schermo.I materiali sono solidi e il colore molto elegante.Unico piccolo difetto da tenere in considerazione è che non è proprio leggerissima.
