Fullstar Tofu Press & Cutter for Firm & Silken Tofu

Excellent! As a water dehydration press and for cutting the tofu. I've been cooking with tofu for fifty years and believe me this thing is must have! Excellent purchase/ However a few things I would advise: press the tofu longer amount of time to get full drainage, line up your tofu brick with cubes on grid to insure proper cutting and slice off extra tofu with a knife and save it, once cut are made it will result in rectangular cubes, then cut them in half which will square cubes and perfect for easy stir-frying!

This is such an easy press to use and I use it at least once a month to press firm and extra firm tofu. It presses the tofu and the liquid passes into the bottom reservoir, which then can be drained off. I found it produces a perfectly dried block for whatever my use is. The base can also be used to marinate the tofu which is very handy not having to get another dish dirty. All the pieces fit into the base for easy storage. I've never had a problem with it not locking as others have commented, the knob needs to be turned clockwise so the tabs lock under the lid. Everything cleans up easily and the brush helps get little stuck pieces out of the cutter and the tray.

Works good for dicing and draining water from any tofu other than extra-firm. The vertical handles on the cutting plate are not sufficiently sturdy for dicing extra-firm tofu. Feel like they will break. I bought it primarily for squeezing water from the tofu and not necessarily for cutting. Overall its a better product than alternatives.

I recently began eating more tofu so I thought it would be a good idea to buy a tofu press to make preparation easier. This container is made of hard plastic, it's see through, doesn't take up a lot of space, iat came with a cutter made of sharp metal in a grid pattern making lining up the tofu block easy to slice. There's a drainage plug on the bottom to catch the water. Everything comes apart for easy cleaning and there's even an instructional video so you can see how to use it step by step. I admit I goofed up a little bit the first time I used it, but it's pretty user friendly. All in all, I highly recommend it.

I use this all the time, it works great and also lets me get even slices instantly after pressing.

I wish I had bought it sooner! I do wish it were more compact when storing, as it is a bit bulky. It makes pressing tofu easier, but the cutter makes awkward long strands, so it is not perfect but good enough.

Do not buy this product! The spring does not work well to squeeze water out also the water stays at the bottom of the container and your tofu stays soggy

Me pareció un buen producto desde que lo vi y ahora que lo he usado ya varias veces no me arrepiento. Es muy practico y efectivamente extras bastante agua del Tofu. Lo dejo dentro del refri haciendo presión y después de un par de horas suelta bastante agua. Con esto el Tofu queda con una textura más agradable y listo para una mayor absorción de un marinado

Es ligero, fácil de lavar. Solo te. Cuidado con las cuchillas. Yo am momento de desmontarlo me corte los dedos. Son demasiado filosas y no recomiendo que lo usen infancias sin supervisión. En cuanto a la rapidez y presión que pone al tofu para deshidratarlo es efectiva. Sin duda me ayuda muchísimo. Le caben sin problema dos cuadros de tofu juntos.
