NBS-6040 CNC Router Machine with Custom-Made 710W 7000-30000 RPM Trim Router Spindle & ER-11 Collet, Linear Rails & Ball Screws on 3-axis, Engraving for Wood Acrylic Aluminum

I'm new to the CNC market but have been doing woodwork for years. I wanted to get a CNC that could do a good size project. Most entry level machines are typically too small, and the more expensive machines were too big. This one is perfect right in the middle. And within this category you pay a little bit more money for the better construction it comes with. This is very solid and sturdy. And the spindle it comes with is rather nice as well. I wish it came with a 1/4 inch collet however. But those are cheap to get, so no biggy really. I wish the hand control was bigger. And I have some issues with the candle software, so I just use vectric. And I wish it used a USB stick versus the micro SD. But that's just me, maybe there's a reason nymolab went that route. Overall though, this machine is really really nice. Very sexy looking compared to other units. The customer support is top notch as well. Being new to this market I had many questions and they have been with me every step of the way. I did have an issue with the spindle and they replaced it within 2 days to me! I think it's great that a company takes responsibility and acknowledges their customers. The packaging was great and easy to assemble as well.

Great little machine. Used Vetrics and added the 7” touch controller. Cut some 170 parts 3/4” “U-Channel” 1/8” aluminum, much more precise then our drill press setup. Setup was a breeze.

Instructions for the machine set-up were excellent and everything went together perfectly. I purchased the dust shoe, MPG Handwheel Controller, and 4th axis rotary module which all arrived together with the CNC machine. Recommend a little planning for delivery since the box weighs 130 lbs. As someone new to CNC, I have been struggling to figure this out. Instructions for installing Candle and Easel software came with it, but I have been evaluating a number of other software programs to see what is most beneficial for me, including cost. I highly recommend the dust shoe which works very well, and the MPG has turned out to be a time saver. Customer service has been very good. They have replied to all my questions in a timely manner. I had an issue where the router spindle would stop turning during a carve. Being new at this I had no idea if the issue was software, computer or physical. I emailed Nymolabs with the problem and they sent back a number of things to check. At their troubleshooting suggestion I was able to trace it to the router power cord attached to the x/y arm. After describing this to them they sent me a new cord with instructions on how to install it. Works fine now, and I’m looking forward to hopefully mastering CNC carving someday.

I purchased this machine and overall this machine is very rigid very capable of whatever you throw at it. I would recommend this machine to anyone who would like a very well built machine that doesn't need tinkering with. It comes practically built for you. It only took me 20 minutes to complete. The spindle and frame are very powerful. I also would like to include that there customer support are very responsive and very helpful. I am new to CNC and they have help me every bit of the way. I appreciate that as a customer. This machine is better than any of the others out there. I have talked with many other owners of different brands of CNC and I believe this one comes in at Number 1. Thank you NymoLabs for the very positive experience I have had with you. As soon as the accessories come out I will be buying them. I can't wait to see the rest of your lineup. I know that you as a company will achieve great things with your top notch equipment👌 .

After 4 months and only 7 hrs of carving the spindle has quit working. It trys to spin and does just a little but nothing up to speed. Not sure if it's the spindle itself or the control box. The x,y and z axis still work properly so I'm assuming it a bad spindle.

I've bought the Nymolabs 6040 router just over 1 month ago. The assembly went good. Just pay attention to the back brace that has the wire running through it. Make sure that the right end of the will plug into the stepper motor. Besides that just follow the instructions and you'll be fine. After assembly just plug it in, turn on the power button and hit the home button. The machine has run anything that I've thrown at it. Very rigid, and dependable. The support group is awesome! If there's a problem with anything, just email them and they will get back with you with a solution to fix the problem. The machine is very user friendly. I'm hoping down the road that they will make a bigger one.

I wrote an earlier review sharing how some of the screws had problems stripping and cross-threading. After contacting Nymolabs I was sent replacement support bars. The new support bars had no thread issues and was able to get all screws installed with no problems. Regarding the tracking issue I reported, the connector was not engaged properly. The marking on the connector is not clear and it can easily be connected in the wrong orientation. Once I had it connected properly the machine tracking was synchronized and have had no problems since then. Overall, it is a good machine. I have used it for cutting carbon fiber parts and it has done well.
