Menabo BRIO - Roof bars for cars with open railing, 120 cm Silver

Perfect fit for my Duster, very happy.

A bit pricier than some of the alternatives, but a good fit and easy to install on my Dacia Duster. Doesn't generate much wind noise either.

Car: 2013 MK3 Octavia Estate I needed roof bars at short notice for a trip. I was really dubious about ordering some from Amazon for such a low price but the reviews suggested they were ok. They arrived quickly and were fitted immediately so I could go and collect the roof box. They were easy to fit and feel very secure. I haven’t had any problems with the fit or with them moving since fitted - I’m suitably impressed. For the price I would definitely recommend them. The only reason I didn’t give 5* is that the plastic covers on the end of the bars (which have to be removed to fit the legs) aren’t very secure so one of ours fell off in the first week. Ultimately, this doesn’t affect use But also doesn’t particularly brilliant build quality

Easily hooks on to open rails, turn of the key opens a hole for the provided allen key to wind the jaws clamping on to the rails. Makes a slight whistle sound around 60-70mph. I keep mine in the boot for when needed, lightweight and installed in 5mins.

Fitted to my new Dacia Duster. Seem to be a very good fit and attached my Thule box 📦 very easily & quickly. Very happy 👌

The whistle seemed to come from a gap between the top of the front foot section and the front coss bar. After wrapping the front roof bar in pipe insulation over the entire length of the front roof bar and securing it with cable ties the noise completely disappeared.Nothing was done to the rear cross bar. The pipe insulation used was 22mm. If the noise is annoying you I hope this advice helps. The loud high pitch whistle was noticable at 30 mph right through to motorway speed but now there is no noise at all. You could also try silicone on the gap between the top of the foot pack where it joins the crossbar but to be fair if the pipe insulation and cable clips are done neat it does look quite professional

Lidl often have these roof bars on sale for under 40 euro. They are a good bar but the manufacturer will not supply spare parts if a part gets broken despite showing various parts available on their web site......

Pacco arrivato in condizioni perfette e rapidamente, contenuto ben protetto e in ottime condizioni, nonostante qualche recensione non lo testimoniasse. Estrema facilità di montaggio e robustezza dell'insieme. Montato su Renault Megane familiare terza serie (2012), sporge rispetto agli agganci alle barre di circa 4 cm per parte, integrandosi perfettamente con la sagoma della vettura. L'ho usato per trasportare un kayak di m 2,60 senza problemi. Utilizzando un cilindro di schiuma espansa (tribord dechatlon) che avvolge le barre per proteggere lo scafo, non ho avvertito sibili o rumori particolari durante il viaggio, ai quali volendo si potrebbe ovviare con dei tubicini di gomma inseriti nella scanalatura posta al di sotto delle barre (peratro forniti come extra a richiesta, ma l'ho scoperto dopo), oppure del banale greytape a chusura. Ottimo acquisto. Consigliato.

Utilisées sur une skoda octavia break 3, facilité de montage, solide. Utilisées avec un porte vélo, très bien. Par contre, léger bruit de sifflement au dessus de 90km/h, moi ça me gêne pas trop mais ça peut gêner certains. Pour le prix, très bien.

Satisfait à 100% . Convient très bien au Dacia Duster 2024 .
