Honey-Can-Do CRT-01512 5-Drawer Hanging File Cart,Chrome Finish

I needed something to handle the 'working remotely' that was portable and held the tools I needed. It was very easy to put together. Not tools are required. I is assembled with an Allen wrench, that is provided. It rolls very nicely on carpet. It does have 2 wheels that lock so if you have trouble rolling it on the carpet, make sure those wheels are unlocked and it rolls quite nicely. It has 3 larger/wider drawers and 2 smaller/deeper drawers. The drawers are made of a nice heavy weight plastic. The top portion for the hanging folders has quite a lot of room. I used a box of 25 hanging folders and there is still room from more. Well made materials, sturdy, not cheap. This has been the greatest asset to working at home, especially if you don't actually have an office, and then it can be rolled away out of site for the evening. I would definitely recommend this cart.

This cart has been great in helping to organize my home office. It is compact and can fit into small spaces without looking awkward. It helps to keep my household and personal files neat and organized. The files can face in two different directions to prioritize their importance. The drawers at the bottom provide additional space to organize copy paper, pens, markers, paper clips, etc. It is also on wheels so it can be easily moved from one area to another if necessary. It was simple to put together if you follow the directions as written. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. It was worth the money!

I love this rolling cart, makes my job so much easier! However, mine has a defected design so one of the drawers can't be used with it. The smaller side has two deep drawers and the larger side is supposed to have 1 deep drawer and 2 shallow drawers above it. My cart is missing the drawer holders on the larger side, and they're attached at the smaller side, as pic shows. Not a huge deal but still kinda annoying. I'd return it but I'm not down for the hassle.

So, here are the pluses: It's easy to assemble, it's relatively sturdy, all the parts were there, they were all machined correctly. I feel like this last is really important, because HOW MANY TIMES do you by some metal thing and the screws and holes don't line up? Did not have that problem with this. In fact, the holes for screws not only lined up, but the metal was bent in around them to make it easier to assemble. Would totally buy this again. The top where the file folders go is also really sturdy and is actually the right size to hold the folders, so HUGE WIN there (too many file drawers are not sized correctly, take note other companies!). The only problem is that the parts are very similar, so if you are like me and NOT a stickler for detail, you might have to take it apart (at least some) and try again. One side of the base has 3 shelves and one has 2, so you need to make sure they're both on the same side. Also, one side's wider. So not only is shelf number, but also width critical if you want the finished thing to work. Even having to take the base apart twice because I fail at details, it has no scratches to the chrome, and looks good. My only complaint is that the material for the drawers is the sort of plastic that will hold a static charge, and my dog's hair is sticking to it like crazy. SO. In all, a great piece for the price, but be careful of the details when putting it together!

I really like this unit - it was easy to assemble and looks really good with the decorative drop files I used. It is just big enough to hold my current years' files and having this rolling cart right by my desk means I file things right away instead of piling them up to file in my big filing cabinet. I am trying to be tidier and more organized in less time and this definitely helps. The drawers are light weight but perfect for pens, labels, stamps etc. I was a bit worried about buying this online but it was safer than going into the office supply store and I am really glad I just did it. Two thumbs up!

I am no "tool-belt woman" and I found this easy to assemble despite my personal "left", "right" challenge on the end bars which meant I had to disassemble & re-assemble in order to line up the drawers properly, LOL. All told, I probably still had it put together in under 30 minutes including dropping that damn hex wrench at least 100 times (I'm blaming arthritic right hand)! Plastic drawers may prove to be slightly flimsy but I have a 400-sheet ream of paper in the top and it's holding out fine. I thought the separator bar was going to be too light-weight to keep files in place but I've got about 10 hanging files and so-far, so good. I use it in a home office space and it's supplying my file cabinet and desk drawers need since I work off a conference table top sans drawers. The true test is, of course, time. Should it fail - I will update my review but for now, it's just what I wanted and needed.

I have been thrilled with my Honey-Can-Do file holder. It seems to be made of a quality material; however, the drawers are made of plastic that are not too sturdy, but I am only store pencils and pens in them. It was easy to put together, and it has five drawers to boot! It works just perfect for what I needed. It has approximate dimensions of 16 x 22 x 29. If you need both legal and letter size files this is a must! It may not be ideal for a commercial office but works great in my home office. It's sinny and looks nice! I also bought the Pendaflex Extra Capacity Reinforced Hanging file folders, legal size and they work perfectly!

I bought this cart in 2017, 2 and a half years ago. I use it constantly. It was absolutely perfect for my needs. The drawers are a bit wobbly, but I store things in them that I don't use much. But it's great having them. The file space at the top has been a lifesaver. I used to have papers all over the place. Now I can find everything so easily. After 2+ years, though, the wheels got very wobbly. I thought I would have to say goodby to my cart, but I decided to write to the company and ask if they had replacement wheels. They did and they sent them to me free of charge. Now I have my wonderful cart back and I am so so happy! Thank you to Honey-Can-Do!!!

The drawers are handy and it is perfect for holding files. Very nice unit!! Assembly instructions online made it easy.

I bought this to use for my closet, my idea was I could put a rectangular laundry bag/basket where files would go and I absolutely love it! It fits my vision exactly. It was pretty easy to put together, more easy then some ikea things i've put together. Took me less than 30 mins? Longest part is just doing the screws but it does feel very sturdy. My box came with instructions but I noticed one of the pictures on this amazon item is actually a video that shows you how to make it, which is super nice to have as instructions. Make sure you pay attention to the grooves and how they will line up with the drawers, i made the mistake of not paying attenion. I didn't think it mattered which way I put the frames and the middle support part, but it does matter because the grooves need to line for the drawers.
