Size can vary slightly w/ different batches, but averages 10cm x 12cm (just under 5" by 4"). Capacity of these large teabags probably over 1/2 cup which would equate to over 1/2 ounce of fluffy loose tea or flower petals or 2 oz of ground coffee (or even more). This will make several quarts of tea (at least); and 2 oz of ground coffee will brew a full 10-12 cup carafe of coffee (ie: make your own full pot coffee pods!)

This variety has a drawstring for sealing. They can also be heatsealed with a professional impulse sealer, after which the drawstrings can be snipped off. Home heat sealers (ie: curling iron) are not guarantee to seal this type.
