Fabulous. Especially if you want to look like the Cybermen.
Great headphones. Super comfortable over ear, although not so great with glasses. The sound is superb; clear, warm and engaging. The sound cancellation is good. And you can look like you've walked off a Dr Who set when you wear them. What's not to like?

GREY not white
Wanted white headphones. Expected these to be white but they are most definitely grey. Absolutely 100% very grey. Nothing white about them. No complaints about the quality - that’s 5*. Will be buying these in black instead as the quality/ sound is fantastic. I just don’t like the grey colour. Would’ve preferred white but will settle for black rather than grey as the quality is incredible - better than my Sony wh5.

Melomania P100 Headphones
Good headphones well made and the sound is good I have not had a wow moment that I was hoping to have like I had with a old Cambridge audio Azura 640a amplifier, which is a bit disappointing but don't get me wrong they do produce good clarity and base and mid range sound and a good level of detail, I did not expect it to produce sound as good as the cxa81 amplifier but I did expect it to out proform the old Cambridge audio amplifier I had. I did have a battery issue with the headphones but I had excellent support from Cambridge audio which has helped in sorting out the issue which just needed a system reboot, The customer service was excellent which is why I have given a 5 Star rating.

Solid Bluetooth connection with no faff, excellent sound quality
So far I've just used the headphones to listen to music. The sound quality was good at the start and is opening up nicely. They're comfortable, extremely well-made and connection to Bluetooth was the easiest and most hassle free I've experienced. ANC? No sign of Nelson Mandela so far. Seriously, it's not something I've used before, but I'm quite impressed with it. A big, deep, loud bark from one of my dogs became a little chihuahua yip. Quite amusing.

Great, not just great value, Music has never sounded better.
I bought these without waiting for the reviews and I am so happy. I previously used and loved my Sony WM1000-XM4. The Melomania P100 blows them out of the water when it comes to sound quality. The precision, clarity and focus is breathtaking. Every track I have played, any type of music has sounded better, clearer and more compelling than ever. The noise cancellation is very good, if not quite up to the best I have tried (Sony XM4, Bose QC 3). The cups are very comfortable and provide great sound isolation Setup and connection is easy. The Melomania app seems good and the EQ settings work well, but if you are after big thumping bass, these are not for you.

Such a great idea, just not executed quite as well as I would have liked.
It has become a very solid daily driver, however if I knew certain things about it I would not have bought it. So the main reason I bought it is because it can be repaired and have the batteries replaced, the sound quality is there, the build quality is honestly very average but they are comfortable to wear because they are light. The battery life is FANTASTIC. They look fairly minimalistic, which I prefer to anything that appears flashy. They are good value for money if you look at the other upper mid range headphones in the same price bracket. HOWEVER, My biggest gripe is the hinges holding the earcups to the headband. It is metal to plastic, and that plastic will eventually break if you use them regularly. The only reason this doesn't doc more points for me is because honestly every other headphone manufacturer is doing the same annoying thing for planned obsolescence... But at least Cambridge audio allows you to repair it yourself and not have to buy a whole new pair of headphones. And the other big annoyance is the noise canceling. there is this very strange noise that plays around your music which I've never had with any other pair of ANC headphones and from what I can tell I'm not the only one that has had this issue. It's not background noise from your surroundings, it's not noise from your device, it doesn't play when ANC is turned off, it is the noise that is playing that makes ANC work in the first place I think. I think this COULD be solved with software updates, but I really hope if this isn't fixable they make sure this issue is not there on the next pair of over ears they make simply because I love the direction this company is making. Summary: Sound quality - 4/5 Comfort - 4/5 Right to repair - 10/5 The only headphones I know which actively ENCOURAGE you and can guide you in fixing things yourself! Build quality 3/5 as someone who used to buy Senni Momentums (all metal headband and hinges with metal earcups) I would actually rate this a 2/5 if the rest of the market wasn't just so bad. ANC - 2/5 Good at actively getting rid of background noise, but the strange staticky noise when ANC is turned on is so off putting. Value for money - 4/5 You can repair it yourself, but I would still rather have bought something more durable with better ANC. I REALLY REALLY REALLY Want this company to keep going on this idea, I eagerly await their next pair with hopefully a little more refinement. But for now it's a great idea, a good product just lacking polish.

Sound quality, comfort, build quality.
The P100 headphones definitely have the Cambridge audio sound. There is no muddyness in the sound even at high volume levels, everything I've thrown at them is crystal clear and dynamic, they definitely get your feet tapping, very happy with them and would highly recommend .

Weak materials
Quite good sound but very fragile plastic in the arms. One side has broken and the otherside has cracked after five months. Very disappointed.

I already have the Cambridge Audio Melomania M100 Earbuds - and I love them. While they are lacking a little bit of bass, they sound very analytical and precise. The P100 over-ear headphones, on the other hand, are real bass monsters. They have a very full and deep, sometimes almost disturbing bass. The rest of the sound spectrum is also very good, clear mids, with full voices, and an extended upper spectrum with a very clean resolution. Spatial distribution of instruments is also pretty good, even though other headphones do a bit better in this discipline. Now when comparing the Melomania P100 with some other headphones I own, their limitations become apparent. The noise cancelling is good, but the Apple AirPods Max are way superior (that being said, the comparison is perhaps a bit unfair, as the AirPods sell for twice the price, and are recognized to have probably the best noise cancelling on the market). In some songs, the Melomania P100 seem to lose a bit the overview, and some sounds are simply disappearing (like for example the little "clicking" sounds in Björk's "Hyper-Ballad") - probably the bass is overshadowing too much the rest of the music. The AirPods, my Bowers & Wilkins P7x S2 and also my Sennheiser Momentum 3 and even my Bang & Olufsen H9 3rd gen are doing much better here - but all of these headphones are significantly more expensive. Overall, however, the Melomania P100 are a very pleasant set of headphones, and definitely worth the money, especially when you are looking for a "bass-head"-type headphone. And did I mention that they are also comfortable to wear, good looking and feature an unbeatable battery life...?

I was looking for over the ear replacements for my AirPods Pro’s, after a lot of research someone recommended these to me. For daily driver use, the P100 is a great choice. They aren’t too heavy on the head and they don’t squeeze the head too hard. They come with a nice hard side case, which is nice but could be a little bulky for travel. A slimmer travel option would be a nice addition even if purchased separately. Also included is 2 cables USB-C->USB-C and USB-C->3.5mm. The earcups, made from vegan leather, are pretty comfortable and easily replaceable. They can make my head a little sweaty if it’s a little warm out. I haven’t seen any different materials for these available yet, hoping that changes, either from Cambridge or 3rd party. The sound quality is enjoyable. The app has an adjustable EQ as well. It is a closer sound stage than I would like, but that comes with closed back earphones. I have a set of open back for special situations. I think the sound can be a little on the cooler side, but with some EQ adjustments you can get it where you want it. They are not bass heavy, but I find the bass pretty neutral overall which I prefer. The app has all the settings available including a few layers of ANC and transparency available. There are tactile buttons on the headset as well which I like a lot. Batteries are user serviceable and affordable. I really like this being an advertised feature as well. The battery life is insane. I am very impressed by the life and still have yet to charge mine. The packaging is a simple pull strip and sleeve design. No plastic or twist ties. In fact I reuse the cardboard sleeves for the cables and I love that. There is a lot of environmentally conscious decisions made in the design of these. If that’s important to you, look no further. While I have the ANC can be a little weird I have only noticed that using that 3.5mm cable. It may be a setting on my part, but could also be fixed through updates. So I’m not overly worried about it. There is a card included listing button press control. I need use it more to figure out the best way to use the buttons. Some in app button customizations would be a nice touch as well. For the money I feel these punch a little above their class and don’t get recommended as much as other more popular ANC headphones.
