Camping Shovel, YOUNGDO Military Folding Survival Equipment

Overall this is great, i've smashed the living hell out of it and it's still in one piece with no damage to it, however, the design isn't as good as it could be, when you dig with it the handle comes loose, if the thread between the shovel head and lower arm was left handed it would solve this issue as you could tighten them together a lot harder. Because the top nut is right handed and the handle the same after a few knocks the handle will come loose, im going to put some of that plumber (PTFE?) tape around the thread and see if that helps. Overall great value and very sturdy, the shovel wont bend if you are digging normal materials, mud, sand etc, not sure it would hold up to sloppy clay but this isn't a trenching shovel anyways, i've bought it for my bug out bag.

This truly is fantastic for the price. It was sturdy enough to easily dig a small long drop toilet and a fire pit in relatively dry, heavy clay soil. When i hit a root from a tree the saw blade edge on the spade made light work of them and in the tougher ground the pic side worked perfectly. The only design flaw i could see was the small point on the end of the handle which led to a blister on the palm of my hand after prolonged use. The ax blade side of the spade while not really substantial enough to fell trees was sharp and durable enough to trim down branches into shafts and to cut points on the end of them to create stakes for camp building such as a fire baffle. On top of this it is small and compact and easy to assemble or pack away. I would highly recommend this to anyone as there first camping spade.

When i receive it i was a bit concerned about size . I thought it's a bit too small . But when i put it together i was pleased from the size and the quality. Damn ... It's like weapon )))) hard steel with soft grip , used it for hiking. Absolutely brilliant, one of the most important thing it doesn't weight a lot , and doesn't take much of a space. love it multi-purpose functionality. Only thing sharp edge wasn't sharp enough for me . But i did it myself with sharping stone, now it's sharp like knife ))) i suppose it's going to be my favourite thing while hiking) ohh... And nice pouche , easy attachable to your belt

Brilliant little shovel for doing your business when out wild camping, better than some silly plastic trowel.

Bought this recently for a camping trip ( was cheaper at about £15). Good strong compact little shovel, takes up no space when dismantled in its pouch. Multifunctional compared to other small shovels I looked at. Used to dig a hole for a Barry White, worked well even in hard ground. The bottle opener is pretty useless though. Could prob split small logs with it with the right technique as has a semi-sharpened edge on one side. Handy storage handle but would prob need a small container to go in it to stop stuff falling out the other end.

Me deplacant souvent en Savoie en voiture, j'ai acheté cette pelle multi fonctions en cas de besoin. Celle ci est de bonne qualité entièrement en métal de bonne facture au vue du poids et fournie avec une petite sacoche de transport permettant de la garder a portée de main sans être encombrante. Les parties tranchantes le sont reellement donc bon point, cela ne fait pas gadget meme s'il faut pour le coup faire attention en la prenant en main car aucune protection n'est founie comme un fourreau en plastique par exemple : Dommage. Sur la pelle que j'ai recu il y a quelques petites taches certainement lors de la fabrication de l'objet, a noté même si de mon coté cela ne me gène absolument pas. Mis a part cela, je suis très satisfait de cet outil qui me sera bien utile en cas de besoin dans ma voiture en hiver en plein hiver.

Das der Spaten nicht für die Baustelle eines ganzen Hauses gedacht ist, sollte klar sein. Ich selbst habe ihn für gelegentliche Ausflüge zum Camping gekauft. Doch bin ich neugierig, und habe geschaut wie er sich zuhause schlägt: Spaten: klein, aber in der Form ergonomisch und gut. Bekomme genug Druck zusammen, um ihn gut in die Erde zu bekommen Hacke: mein kleiner Favorit: kräftig und Weise genutzt, um tiefere Wurzeln vom Unkraut raus zu kriegen. Auch die Arretierung ist super gelöst und schnell eingespannt. Säge: eine echt Säge geht besser, aber: ist hier ja nur dabei! Und ja: ein paar Äste unsres Baumes zum Frühjahrsschnitt gingen super. Für den Rest habe ich dann aber dennoch zur elektrischen Version gegriffen. Aber für unterwegs: besser als ausreichend Und zu guter letzt: Bieröffner. Für die Arbeit danach. Naja was soll ich sagen: das Bier ist offen und man kann sich aus die Pause konzentrieren ;) Rest habe ich derzeit nicht probiert, aber mir gibt's hauptsächlich um dem Spaten und die Hacke. Unglaublich wie gut das geht, trotz der wirklich sehr kompakten Maße. Wer ihn schön erhalten will, sollte früher oder später etwas Öl drauf tun. Er ist zwar gut lackiert, aber das geht dann im Gebrauch früher oder später doch ab. Fazit: das Geld war gut investiert, und ich habe ihn auch so jetzt im Auto mit. Er ist kompakt klein und kann aber echt hilfreich sein. Eine Empfehlung von mir

Känns lite billig när man monterar ihop den. Men stabil och stadig när monterad. Har den i bakluckan på bilen i nödfall. Mycket bra produkt värd sitt pris.
