Not For Me
I've been using K-beauty products for about 12 years, but I’ve never actually tried a Korean hair product until now. This AMOS PROFESSIONAL hair oil is supposed to help with frizz and add shine, which sounded perfect since my hair reacts to humidity. I have mid-density coily hair with a mix of textures. Since most Korean hair care is formulated for very straight hair, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. I will say that the scent is very nice; however, unfortunately, this didn't work for my texture at all. Instead of feeling nourished, my hair stayed frizzy and ended up feeling stiff from all the protein. The formula is packed with copious amounts of cica protein and their “bond solution," which probably works wonders for someone with straight, chemically damaged hair that needs strengthening. On my coils, it just felt like too much protein and not enough actual moisture. I’ll be leaving this one to people with much straighter hair than mine.
