7 Multicolor

I was pleasantly surprised when I first picked up the Vcube 7, after having previously handled the Vcube 5. While I thought the 5 was sturdy, and easy to turn, I thought this one would be less so. I was wrong. The Vcube 7 is just as sturdy, and maybe a tad bit easier to turn, than it's smaller 5 layer counterpart, and the construction is second to none. If you need a challenge past the regular 3x3, or even 4x4 Rubik's, I highly recommend any of the Vcube products. They are far superior to any other cube I've tried, and more than worth the money. As a side note, I've found an entirely new and fun way to play with this and any of the other Vcubes. Each cube is prone to the occasional piece popping out if you turn it the wrong way, or force it, so Vcube has graciously included instructions on how to put these cubes back together. I've found that intentionally taking the cube apart and then putting it back together can be an enjoyable activity, especially for people that like building toys such as Legos. I've taken this cube apart multiple times and put it back together, and it still turns and handles exactly like the day I took it out of the package. It's like getting a puzzle and a building set in one!

I've been collecting rubik's cubes for several years now, and I'd been eying a 7x7 for a few weeks and after reading reviews decided to get the V-cube 7x7. I got it and I love it. It turning ability is fantastic (although I've heard takes a bit more force than some competitors, but I kind of like it that way) and has some fairly high quality corner cutting abilities. However, it does have some drawbacks. I've had it a week and after only moderate use already 4 of the stickers are significantly peeling. I like the pillowing effect as well but in total there are competing brands out there that are significantly cheaper and of equal or better quality like the Shenshou.

This product is total JUNK! I ordered it for my grandson for Christmas, and it came broken!...he was so heartbroken!! Because all he had talked about, that he wanted it for Christmas. Then i requested from Amazon to please send me a replacement cube, they were awesome as always, and did and even over nighted it to me..:) And sent me a return label to return the broken cube as well. So the next day when I got the new one, I Was so happy to give it to my grandson and he was SO EXCITED to finally now have his favorite Christmas gift back!.... As I watched his HUGE smile as he begin to do the cube, within less than 2 MINUTES...He SCREAMED as if someone had stuck a knife in him!......pieces of the cube fell to the FLOOR!!!!......OMG!!! He then BEGGED me to PROMISE to FIX IT!!!! He was so upset HE ALMOST FORGOT TO BREATH!.... I cannot understand how a company can make and or sell such a piece of JUNK!!.... to do this to a child My grandson is very smart and has about a dozen rubic cubes, and can solve many of them! and very quickly I may add. And none of them have ever broke OR fell APART in this or ANY way!!...These are totally and completly DEFECTIVE and should be Taken OFF the market. Whoever made this , should be ashamed of themselves I gave ONE star,only because I had to to submit the review here, or I would have gave NONE. The company that makes this is now selling this item for $13.00 MORE than what I paid at Christmas time!!....Amazon totally took care of me!....as they ALWAYS do!....I just hope AMAZON will STOP selling this product!!...As it is very very DEFECTIVE!!!

The 7x7x7 is a great cube for anyone who enjoys puzzles. It can be quite challenging for beginners as it was for me at first but it is a great way to kill time when you're bored. The cube is very durable and though it is very tight at first it loosens up quite nicely after a few solves. If you are not careful pieces can pop out but they can usually snap right back into place easily. If your cube does happen to fall apart though you can see the v-cube website which gives step by step directions on re-assembly. One thing that I did notice was that the sticker quality is poor and they begin peeling very quickly. However this can be easily fixed with replacement vinyl sticker from the cubesmith website. I highly recommend you buy from here as a full et will only cost you about $2 with an additional 2 for shipping. I own all cubes from the 2x2-7x7 with the exception of the 6x6 and this is by far the most enjoyable cube to use.

I spent $50 on this cube and I have to say that I am rather disappointed. I also own a ShengShou 7x7x7 and I have to say that it is far superior to the V-Cube 7. The packaging is just complete junk. When I received the V-Cube, two stickers were already peeling and it was very stiff. I disassembled it and found that only 3 centers have screws for adjusting tension and after it was reassembled, the center caps kept popping off. I had to sand the sides of the center caps down to keep them from coming off every three seconds, and although this helped, they still pop. I will have to resort to buying additional stickers to replace the stock stickers because I now have about 5 that are coming off. In the end I regret this purchase and if you are deciding which 7 layer cube to buy, go with the ShengShou which is higher quality for half of the price.

My son is an avid cuber. This was his first 7x7x7. He was SO excited to open it and start solving. After the first mix, and working to solve it, almost all of the red stickers have started peeling. He has pressed them back in place, but for the price I would have thought we would get better quality stickers. The cube is smooth, and the V-cube seems to allow for better cornering, but the stickers are a REAL problem.

This cube is good, but not the best. As soon as I opened the box, one of the stickers was already peeling. By now, several stickers are beginning to peel. Also, a center piece popped out only a few days after I began using the cube. Though the cube is the best on the market considering the price, it still could be improved. It turns decently well and is relatively durable.

My spins very well--which was a nice surprise. It doesn't bind at all either. It IS very heavy and though they list size as being 3x3 but it just 'seems' bigger and heavier than a softball: this is one of the few cubes I've purchased where I could feel the QUALITY. It's quite robust and solid. Under normal use (I don't speed-cube) the sticker adhesion and mechanisms seem perfect. Everyone who sees it says the same things, "OMG! It's HUGE!! Why is it so heavy?!?!?" There's a reason this thing is so expensive, and the first time you pick one up and feel it, it's quite apparent why.

I also purchased this from PUZL Uk, go to them first for all your cubes, often the best price and very quick delivery. This cube is very similar to the V Cube 6. So my review will be t=rather similar too. This puzzle is very challenging, especially the last 2 centers, so only cubing fans should really consider this really. Pros; extremely fun, very challenging and very well made. Cons; sadly this also pops apart and some could say that the difficulty may take the enjoyment away. Yet again, V Cube have patented this so they are in control of the market, so i doubt if the price will ever drop anytime soon. Great product, recommend it and go to PUZL as they are 20p cheaper! :)

Pros: - Nice rounded shape for easier grip and layers rotation. - Good weight to size ratio. - Smooth and comfortable rotation of slices. - Spare stickers for all surfaces (see Cons). Cons: - Stickers quality - few started peeling off after only two days of normal use. - Centre pieces falling out if layers were just slightly misaligned (rather easy to put them back in though). - Pieces size - a bit bigger pieces would probably make it less fiddly for an average size hands.

A good cube. It's the only 7x7 I own, so can't compare it to anything else. It could probably do with tensioning and oiling, but even without it, it's ok. Not going to break a speedcubing record out of the box, but good for practice and learning. Nicely packaged in the v-cube standard packaging. It's heavy, but smaller than I expected. It was a bargain at just over £20, so definitely worth it for that price.

Sticker misaligned and starting ro peel off, very noisy and clunky, returned for refund.

This cube is excellent. The colours are bright and the mechanics spectacular. My cube hasn't fallen apart yet, so I'm pleased with it so far. While one yellow sticker is slightly askew, something I would normally take a star off for, however extra stickers for every colour were provided in case any sticks fell off so I don't mind. For a lot of people, their cubes broke because they tried to speed-solve with it. I'm not too interested in speed-solving, or even solving it at all - I just want it as a nice distraction for when I have time to kill. There's nothing that bad I can say about this. 5 stars from me!
