When my cat started overgrooming and pulling her fur out, I took her to the vet. She gave her a steroid shot that helped for two weeks. The over grooming began again. Soon her backend was completely bare and she started biting at her skin and leaving cuts that scabbed over. I went back to the vet to see what else could help beside regular steroid shots which could damage internal organs over time. We discussed all possibilities, but it was clear there was no effective approach. I did my own research for natural approaches and found an ad for Collagen for cats, explaining that the protective layer of skin under the fur is damage by the overgrooming and causes itching that promotes more overgrooming. I was out of ideas so I thought I would give it a try. I liked the idea that you add it to their food because my cat is very difficult to pill or to treat with an injection In 3 weeks time her fur began to cover her bottom. I was amazed. It was working. My little cat is on her way to health and I am thrilled. Whenever a product works beyond my expectations, I like to write a review for the benefit of others who look for effective products. This certainly is. It worked for my cat, Chloe, and I am one satisfied customer.

This product is a game changer!! My bengal has had no more GI issues. My small tabby girl wants to play again. Both cats coats, teeth, breath, eyes, temperament have improved. I have not changed their food or anything else so I know it has been this product helping my cats so much!! I apply about half of the recommended amount in their automatic water dispenser and a few drops in their wet food so they don’t notice the flavor and it worked. (They’re both hyper sensitive to new things) Soft and shiny coats now. Quality is top notch. No bottle leakage. Glass bottle with glass dropper. 100% effective. I highly recommend and will be buying more.

I’ve bought this twice now. My senior cat had been experiencing GI issues which have improved. I add to food and she likes the taste.

My cat’s general health and coat has improved since she’s been taking the collagen. She used to vomit a lot and rarely does any more. She loves the taste and eats more of the food I put the collagen liquid on. She doesn’t shed very much now and her coat is softer and thicker.

This really seemed to make my cat feel good the first day or so, but then she started throwing up like some of the other reviewers. I think I know why. In the tiniest print on the bottle, it says to refrigerate after opening! Please be advised to refrigerate it as it doesn't say so anywhere on the product description or instructions
