Made of soft-spun, skin-friendly merino wool, this beanie is warm and cozy and really well-made. The rich color is in between a dark chocolatey brown and a deep wine red - it pairs well with lots of other colors in my wardrobe. I love how lightweight and packable the fabric is, too, while still functionally keeping me comfortable in cold or wet weather. The socks that came as a free gift are just as high quality. I've purchased other clothing items from this company - multiple base layer merino shirts and socks - and will continue to do so. The quality, craftsmanship, and value mean I'm a dedicated customer and can highly recommend their products!

A quality made, soft wool hat. Thin, comfortable, has a good stretch and thus fits very well. is great for temps -10 C or warmer, not an extreme cold hat as it is thin.

Ultra lightweight and soft, this beanie maintains constant perfect head temp through transitions between high/low exertion activities and even indoors/outdoors. Super comfortable, 100% itch-free; doesn’t cause static or flatten out my unruly (fine wavy) hair; never feels tight and doesn’t stretch out; stores unobtrusively in the inside zipper chest pocket when not being worn. Quality and performance are superior to literally every $$$$ wool or cashmere beanie I’ve purchased over the last three decades — all of which I recently donated!

Comfortable and lightvweight.

The material is fairly warm considering it's a thin and light hat. I would call this a hat liner for the size, but it's a warm hat in it's own right. I would say it will keep you warm until you get below 0F, at that point you'd probably want an outer hat or hood. I got this one as a liner to go under my hard hat and wash it once a week with wool wash. Seems to be holding up decently well to wear, though I think we all know 100% merino has a shorter lifespan, and the fibers aren't especially long. That's to be expected for the price. Solid product, definitely worth the money. Because of this price to qualify ratio I've bought another hat and 3 shirts from the company.

Where has this beanie been all my life? It’s amazing. It’s lightweight and comfortable, keeps my head warm but I don’t get too warm where I have to take it off. I did a hike in it yesterday and it was about 40ish when starting, almost 50 when finishing. It was so comfortable. Most of my hats end up coming off for awhile too cool my head down. I think because this one is thin and wool, it’s better for temperature regulation. I imagine I may need to add another hat on top as it gets colder here in Colorado but I haven’t been hiking in the 20-30s yet. Do yourself a favor and buy this. I just ordered another one even though I don’t necessarily need it. It’s such a great deal and the socks are dope too! Wore them yesterday and my feet temperature regulation was just as great. All my socks are darn tough brand but I am happy to work these in the mix now.
