I ordered this soldering iron kit for my teenage Grandson to encourage him to be creative as he starts to discover electronics & electrics. This kit has everything you would need to complete an electronic kit, from the basic ones to some more complicated ones. The soldering iron & multi-meter are very good for the price & work well. The whole kit comes in a zip case with a basic instruction leaflet plus a safety warning card for the sharp & hot tools. There are lots of bits & pieces included & it is very good value for the price, as a complete starter kit for STEM projects.

I bought this because I needed to repair a toy my son got for Christmas, yeah could have taken it back but this seemed like fun. I also used it to fix another faulty machine i had lying around for the last 4 months. So fixed both no dramas but I work for an electronics company so know what the quality should be like. The volt meter is pretty basic, feels flimsy. The Flux isn't great but the rest is pretty good considering the cost (kit at my work is in the £100's & £1000's this was £22 so not really any comparison. Anyway, if you're after a cheap starter kit to get you going this will do the job.

Quality ok, good for price

Everything arrived quickly, and everything was inside. - The case is higher quality than expected, and the items inside doubly so for the price. - In particular, the swapping screwdriver has quickly become my go to screwdriver, as it has handled all of my tasks with ease, and some of them were exerting a lot of force that my more expensive screwdrivers may have struggled with. The multi-meter works well. - Again, much better than I was expecting at this price point, and the soldering iron does it's job... In the longer term, I expect that the soldering iron (and particulararly it's holder) will be the first item to be upgraded, but it's still honestly worth buyiong this set as a starter for yourself or a daughter who is into STEM for the case, the rest of the items, and a good working starter soldering iron. Recommended.

The kit itself seems pretty good for the cost certainly more suited to "lightweight" rather than heavy duty stuff. However, I sent the first one back because according to the accompanying leaflet and available images it was apparent that the base for the soldering iron stand was missing as was the tube of solder wire, the replacement though was exactly the same parts missing so I guess they'll all be the same. I can accept the missing solder as there's always some knocking about but the missing base is a bit of a pain in the backside

Achtung britischer Stecker ! Ich habe den Stecker fachmännisch in einen deutschen Stecker ändern lassen & bin für den Preis relativ zufrieden mit dem Set . Meine Erwartungen waren allerdings auch nicht hoch . Sieht alles billig verarbeitet aus . Erfüllt aber seinen Zweck .

Ya sé que no se le puede pedir mucho a este kit por el precio que tiene pero que el soldador no lleve enchufe europeo, vamos!!!. hay una foto donde salen pinzas de cocodrilo para el multímetro, no las lleva. Un apunte, el multímetro no lleva pilas.

Das Gerät hat keinen deutschen sondern einen Britischen Stecker und kann daher in Deutschland nicht verwendet werden. Außerdem werden für das Multimeter entgegen der Beschreibung noch Batterien benötigt. Über sonstige Qualität etc. kann ich nichts sagen da ich es nicht verwenden kann.

Produit complet au top, mais attention... Lorsque vous mettez le fer a souder en puissance maximum avec l'une des pointes les plus fines, elle se tord... Alors ne mettez pas a fond avec la plus fine, mais avec celui le plus épais... Sinon au top merci !
