Where is the product manufactured? Thanks.

It is manufactured in China by qualified factory.

Is the middle divider able to be removed? Like velcroed in?

No, the middle divider couldn't be removed.

Will this work for wooden or acrylic turned pens?

I do not see why it would not work. I have not used wooden pens, but it’s fine for other finishes. Maybe Urushi would present a problem.

How thick or paded is the middle part? And is it a velvet?

Its velvety but not padded or particularly thick, more like a rigid sheet maybe an 1/8" or so
