Highly Recommend
The quality of this camera and monitor is well worth the money. I installed the camera on the topside of the back of my Jayco X18 trailer. I do not have a Furion system, so I had to wire it to the center running light. It was a relatively easy install for me, but it might be a bit of a challenge for someone who doesn't understand electronics. That being said, I simply removed the running light from the trailer, stripped a section of insulation from each of the wires that power the running light, soldered the wires from the camera to the running light wires, and screwed the camera to the back of the trailer. The camera has an included set of crimp connectors for easy connection of the wires, but those wouldn't work for my trailer because the crimp connectors are made for a heavier gauge wire than that which runs to my running lights - so I soldered them to make sure of a solid connection. The camera is about 30 feet from the monitor placement on the dashboard of my truck, and the video connection is flawless. No dropouts, no stalling. The picture is really clear. I'm quite pleased with the operation. Once I had it all wired, I plugged the monitor into my dashboard, and once the running lights were turned on the monitor displayed the image from the camera with no issues. I'm surprised this unit is as inexpensive as it is. For the quality, I would expect the price to be almost twice as much as what I paid.We took it on a camping trip this past weekend, and it operated better than I expected. Our drive was about 500 miles round-trip, and it worked perfectly. I highly recommend this setup.

Definitely worth the money
This camera was exactly what I was looking for. I needed something to make hooking up my trailers easier. Installation was very easy. The image quality is pretty good for the price. And the night vision is acceptable. Overall this is a pretty good quality camera and easy to mount.

A Pleasant 5 Star Surprise…
I researched wired and wireless cameras to use when towing my 42 foot fifth-wheel. The trailer was prewired for a Furrion wireless camera and Ford, the truck manufacturer offered a wired camera system.Let me pause the review for a moment to explain, I am a military trained radio technician who worked in emergency communication systems for a couple of decades and finished my carrier working on medical camera systems. So I have a better than average understanding of how these systems are supposed to function. When I talk about what I did and why I did things, you can take it as professional advice. Perhaps this review can help others avoid some of the problems described in the less favorable reviews. Now back to the review…The LeeKooLuu wireless two camera system had above average reviews. When I read the reviews where the consumer had technical issues, I knew the likely cause of most of those complaints were related to installation. Since this system was offered at an attractive price and even those with technical complaints said they received good customer service, I decided I would try this system. The system arrived in one box. For a preliminary inspection, I used two supplied power cords to power up the monitor and one camera. The monitor immediately recognized this as camera #2. I then powered up the other camera and the monitor recognized this one as camera #1. The product description stated that LeeKooLuu would provide extended antennas on request. Knowing how I intended to install this system, I emailed their customer service with my order number asking for 2 extended antennas and a windshield mount. I received an immediate email response and the items arrived two days later at no cost to me. (This fast response was the first indication I made a good choice.)I installed Camera #1 (as identified in my initial testing) on the rear of my 5th-wheel RV. I have a toy hauler so it is installed over the garage door about 12 feet above ground with a down tilt of 40 degrees (see picture). I screwed the metal bracket into the RV framing to ensure a good electrical ground (this helps to minimize radio interference). This camera angle is significant! The types of antennas used on all of the wireless systems I researched are designed to be installed perfectly vertical / straight up and down. The strongest signal from such an antenna is perpendicular to the antenna. Because of my camera angle, most of the signal (if I used the stubby antenna) would be radiating down into the road behind the RV or up into the sky above it. I mounted an extended antenna as far forward on the RV roof as the cable would allow (about 12 feet). The extended antenna has a magnetic base, but my RV has an aluminum frame and body wrap so I used sufficient silicone adhesive to secure the antenna base (see picture) to the RV roof and allowed it to cure for 72 hours before applying wind stress. I secured the antenna cable to a roof vent shield with a wire tie. I left a drip loop on the cable before it attached to the camera so it would shed water from the camera. I wired the camera power to the RV running lights. Since the RV is aluminum, I double checked my ground wiring as a proper ground is critical for effective radio signaling. I also put a drip loop on the power wires to protect the camera and the RV. I sealed the wall of the RV with sealant tape and silicone.Since this was a brand new truck, I was not going to do a permanent install of the monitor until I adequately tested the system and knew I was going to keep it. I held the second camera in reserve to mount on the roof of the truck to visualize the king pin hitch while attaching the trailer if I was satisfied with the system performance. I set up the monitor in the cab with the supplied 12 volt outlet adapter on the surface mount plate with the stubby antenna (as you can see in the attached video. The video was taken when my wife was driving 65 mph on the interstate highway).Off we went on a 9-day road trip. We traveled some country back roads but mostly interstates. We drove 25 mph in some areas and highway speeds up to 70 mph in others. There were a few times, and I mean very few times, when the camera signal was lost. The signal loss was never more than a second and usually looked like a slow scan camera. But those instances were very few and very far between. As you can see from the photo, I have an F350 long bed, crew cab truck with the 42 foot fifth wheel. This is not a small rig. I am extremely happy with the LeeKooLuu backup / observation camera system. It did everything I expected it to do at a price I consider a great value. I would have spent 2 to 2 ½ times the price to get the Furrion or the Ford systems. If I wanted to install a power hookup in my RV, I could easily move the monitor and use this as a security system as well.Bottom line… THIS SYSTEM WORKS. IT IS AN EXCEPTIONAL VALUE. If you are having problems, make sure the installation is optimized; everything is properly grounded and all antennas are oriented vertically. If a problem is equipment related, LeeKooLuu has excellent customer service. I do recommend this system. Actually, I’m going to order a third camera to install on the back of the RV to point downward so I can see the RV tail when backing into tight spots. A good RV backup camera is cheaper than a marriage counselor (if you RV, you know what I mean.)

Great stuff just needs a better quality wire
Excellent screen and backup camera. The camera synced up on the first attempt. The camera has a great view and the screen was easy to mount. The installation instructions were easy to follow and understandable and everything is working perfectly. I can’t give it a four star because the wiring is poor quality, very thin and hard to work with. The kit does come with a inline splice which would probably have worked with better wire every time I tried to use it, it would cut the wire off,so off too my auto store for the fix

Easy to put togeather
Very good product, clear picture, works exactly as described,

Decent for the money
Camera installation was fairly easy, although I did have to create a hole to feed the wires through to get to my desired power source. The wires are too small for any of the wire strippers I have but I was able to get the insulation off by careful use of a pocket knife. The screen is large and reasonably good. In my experience, suction cup mounts don’t work particularly well, and this one is no exception. I have it mounted low on my dash with Velcro and it does not interfere with forward vision. I wired the system to be on all the time and use it as a second rear view mirror. The wireless connection is good but it will occasionally freeze or stutter.

Safer backing!!
Work’s just like advertised! Easy to install screen & plug in. Installed behind license plate & wired to back up lights in a trailer plug. Screen is clear & is much safer than just mirrors. I’m really enjoying it.

Better than expected on some things. Some not as good as hoped.
Item works decent. The cord is not long enough for a suv of any size. There is some lag using the bluetooth not wired camera. Is decently bright enough and has contrast and brightness adjustment. It paired right up by itself. The resolution is not as good as pictures show. Id imagine those are using wired cameras but still dont believe resolution is that good with a wired camera. I didnt know the camera is adjustable up and down but glad it was as i had to adjust to be able to see hitch ball. It was surprisingly wide angle. Better than I thought it would be. It is windshield mount only. Doesnt come with anything to mount to dash

Works very well on truck and 25' trailer
Reliably couples to camera when mounted at the back of a 25' towed trailer and gives a very good image, especially in weak light conditions. The smaller camera fits well over the tow vehicle registration plate, and is easy to splice into the illumination light wiring for power. The screen unit has 4 cut-outs that will allow a slide fit onto certain mounts intended for mobile phone clips, which is how I put it in place. I found this to be an excellent combo of items.

Very easy install. Very effective daytime backup camera.
This camera worked perfectly. Installed easily at the licence plate on a 2013 SanteFe. Getting the power cord to the right side backup light needed a small drilled hole and fishing the cord thru a couple of hatch access panels but was simple and the power wire attachment clips worked easily. On my 2010 Silverado pickup, attached at the licence plate as well, but wiring it to a backup light circuit was not easy, so I wired it to the right side licence plate illumination light which was easily accessable from under the rear bumper. Camera was then constantly ON but easily switched off at the screen 12v plug adaptor.Highly recommended.

Overall great value
Over all great system. The monitor has a very clean and crisp image, has option for 4 cameras as well there is many options for camera layout and display. Above all the range is amazing. I left 2 cameras plugged in on the table inside my kitchen and was able to drive 1.5 km down the road before it lost signal. Considering this, no one should have any problems keeping 100% signal in any set up for RV/truck. I will buying a 3rd camera for this system.
