AmazonBasics Cooling Elevated Pet Bed

I have a 9 year old GSP and she loves to lay on the porch and watch the birds and squirrels in the yard. I think this is a lot more comfortable for her than laying on the hard floor and keeps her cool in the hot weather because the air can move all around it. I'm considering getting another one for my other dog. Great quality and great price! (My cat loves it too. If the dog isn't on it, then the cat is!)

A bit of a pain to put together but only because it gets more difficult as you add pieces on. The overall process is simple but it's best to loosen the screws a bit once you get to the final corner. Tightening them all completely gives you no "play". It's also best to put it together outside or in an area where you have plenty of room to spread out and work. Don't do what I did with the first one (I ordered a 2-pak of these beds) and then tried to put it together in the middle of my tiny living room. Take it outside or somewhere where you have room to spread out and loosen those screws, as needed, so it goes together a bit easier.

Medium is a good size for a goat! Love!!! I buy these beds for my goats. With my last one I bought, it didn’t screw together and basically just fell apart anytime I have to move it, which is daily. Moral of the story, hate that one and will be replacing it with this one. This one screws together perfectly, did it by myself in 5-10 minutes. Goat loves it! The goat that uses it is a Pygmy/ND mix and fits with extra room, and my Boer mix would fit perfectly. This bed in medium is also the same size as the XL made by another brand, so pay attention to measurements when shopping these!

For the most part this is great quality and easy to put together but the center bar does not stay locked in causing the bed to pop out and scared my dog. Now he doesn't want to get on it. We have the medium one and he loves it but he has out grown it. I have read that others have had the same problem.

I bought this size XL a year ago and my great dane wasn't really impressed with it. Eventually it ended up in the shed taking up way too much space. So this spring clearing out the shed I put this bed out and my dog immediately went on it. The only thing different was that I threw out the middle support bar so he free hangs like the smaller size ones that don't have that middle bar. I couldn't throw it away now and so far it's his go to spot wherever I put it in the yard. It's crazy how much he didn't want it compared to how he looks for it now. He has a fake grass mat, a 7ft yoga mat and he will go to this everytime. It may be less supportive without the bar but it's his hammock now and that's how he likes it. Went from a 1 star to a 5 star purchase.

This dog bed was easy to put together and seems plenty sturdy to be safe. Unfortunately it creaks and wobbles just a little bit when my dog gets on the bed or shifts positions and it seems to make her uncomfortable. She will only get on the bed when I tell her to and leaves as soon as I walk away. I wish it was more solid feeling because I think she’d use it well.

Good product, though check the size when buying as we bought one big enough for a kindergarten of puppies. Sturdy, easy to assemble, and does the job. What else is there to wish for?
