Better than the rest.
This is my favorite ramen to date. Better noodles, spicier, and definitely better than any other ramen made by maruchan.

Ridiculously amazing if you know how to cook ramen
Out of this world if you make them right. I have experience with ramen noodle life hacks. Don't boil for longer than 2 minutes and add some of your favorite oil for lubrication when you add the seasoning. I see a lot of complaints on here about people saying the sauce is too thick. It's not too thick. The noodles need some oil so they don't clump up when you eat them. I used one full packet of seasoning for two packs of noodles. And that was plenty. One packet of seasoning for one pack of noodles would be way too much. Too salty and too hot. This ribbon style noodle is also great for stir fry. I will definitely be using them without the seasoning packet for other types of dishes.

I can't believe these are Maruchan!
I never in a million years would have thought that I would be all about some Maruchan noodles because I've never been a fan but here we are. I bought these because of the price. I figured worst case scenario I could toss the seasoning packet and use some Hoxy Korean ramen seasoning if I didn't like them but that didn't happen. I usually buy Buldak noodles but I find their sauce packets to all be way too spicy, to the point you can't taste any other flavor, so I typically use half the packet or use Hoxy. Well I had a good feeling about these. Maruchan being a mainstream brand, I couldn't see them putting the spice over the top despite the fire moniker... Right? Well, I was right. I added my usual chives, a dash of worcestershire sauce, and a pouch of Starkist lower sodium chicken and boiled it down until there was no water left so I had a nice thick sauce. From the first bite, I was hooked. The noodles are on the level of Buldak, the heat is perfect, they're lower sodium than Buldak too. All you really have to do to get a good noodle is figure out the optimum cook time to hit 3 minutes on the noodles (for al dente) or 4 minutes (for a softer noodle) or just drain the excess water when you get to your desired noodle consistency. These noodles would stand up against any ramen I've ever had and win. They're chewy, they're thick, they're springy, easy to cook. Do yourself a favor and buy these noodles. Use an induction burner and you have a fast meal, we're talking under 5 minutes, and you can toss anything you like in them to make it your own. I highly recommend adding some protein and I think next time I make these I'll toss in some frozen vegetables.

Decently good noodles
Genuinely good noodles ngl. Filling, a lot of sodium so you might need a little less than available, change water depending of spice tolerance, spicy but also good flavor. Recommend fr

Nice Wide noodles with a good spicy seasoning.
Spicy, you should drain most of the water and half a packet of seasoning will do for most people, or 1 packet of seasoning with 2 bricks of noodles. When I don't go full heat, I save the extra for a chilli booster :) Another reason I prefer these is for the superior wide noodles. Not mushy or "slimy" and holds up well. Only Wish I could buy cheaper in bulk at the wholesale clubs. Crazy how much price of ramen has gone up over the years.

Little heat. Quite salty. The noodles are slimy. Weird texture.

nasty flavor and texture noodles
these are horrible the texture of the noodles is like pasta noodles rather than traditional ramen and the taste is just as bad. i bought 2 cases and only ate one pack out of it because my taste buds were so offended and i ended up giving the rest away. i don't leave reviews but i had to so nobody else makes the same mistake. STAY AWAY FROM THESE!!
