Suggested Use: First Use: Push the mineral pod down until you feel it click. You may leave the mineral pod in place while filling, drinking and cleaning. Clean the IonPod prior to the first use. Open the lid and pour boiled water into the IonPod. Oscillate in up and down motion. Shake the IonPod and pour out the water. Repeat until the water is clear. This is just a precaution. Cleaning: Clean the IonPod with citric or white vinegar after one month of continuous use. If water quality is poor, cleaning should be conducted every two weeks. White vinegar cleaning method: Add 2-3 tablespoons of white vinegar and 4 oz. water; shake the IonPod for 10 seconds and pour out the liquid. (Caution: Do not cover with lid during cleaning to avoid generation of excess .) Cold Water: Add purified water into the IonPod and drink after three minutes (the longer the better).
