My sound bar has a wireless subwoofer and they had become disconnected. I had lost the remote and there is no way to reconnect the bar to the subwoofer from the buttons on the physical device. The remote worked with my sound bar, and I was able to reconnect the two devices. It's not perfect, but it got the job done.

We moved from one city to another and somewhere along the way, we lost the remote to our soundbar. I searched all over Samsung’s website but couldn’t find a replacement, so we have just been turning it up and down manually with the touch features. What we missed most was the extra features of different sound profiles that you can only get to with the remote. After a few drinks one night I decided for whatever reason to search amazon for my model of soundbar and up popped this. I read some of the reviews and some said the buttons for the features doesn’t work, either way I wanted it just for volume purpose and for the price I bought it anyway. DONT LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! This remote is exactly like the original that came with the soundbar. You have all the features and controls. This is a steal at this price, and I would ya e paid double honestly. It works. Simple. I might buy 2 more in case I ever lose this one.

This remote control came in good timing and it did pair with a samsung speaker.

My old remote for my Samsung hw-e450/ZA soundbar suddenly stopped working after 8 years of having it and I didn’t want to get rid of the soundbar because it has been an amazing product. Why fix what isn’t broken, right? So I went to the Samsung website and the remote was discontinued there, sadly, so I turned to amazon and was slightly overwhelmed by the slew of product numbers. There were two on my sound bar: hw-e450/za and hw-e450c. I took the chance on this remote because it matched one of them and much to my delight, every function on the remote works on the sound bar. Some buttons are not in the same place as the original however, that very minute detail does not affect the functionality of the remote. $7 for this gamble was well worth it and I thank the product manufacturer for providing this replacement and saving me from dropping $300 for another soundbar. So ecstatic about this purchase!!
