U.S. Solid 1/4 in Motorized Ball Valve, NSF Certified 304 Stainless Steel Electric Valve, Normally Closed, 9-24V AC/DC, 2-Wire Auto Return, Full Port

I've had about 5 of these pumping antifreeze for years. Thousands and thousands of gallons without fail. This will be the first replacement, and it isn't really even the fault of the valve. They have an issue with water intrusion if used in open air, it may take 5 years but it will happen. Solution? Drill a tint hole under the motor to allow any water to escape. Also, seal the top with a tiny bead of RTV. If you do that there is no reason this valve left outside, shouldn't last 10yrs+.

I needed to automate the flush valve our our sediment filter, to open for one minute once a week. Since there was a sprinkler timer nearby I needed a value that was energized to open and automatically closes when deenergized. And because of the large amount of sediment in the flush water I needed a ball valve instead of a solenoid valve. So this particular valve is perfect. I opens quickly when actuated from a standard sprinkler controller, and closes reliably when the sprinkler controller removes power. It has standard 1/2" pipe threads and installs easily. It's worth noting that this valve does not have a way to manually activate it, but I can use the manual mode of the sprinkler controller for that. It's only been installed a few weeks, but so far it's running perfectly.

Really like these valves; but buy the models WITHOUT the manual override knob (it doesn't seat properly and then makes the electronic valve useless). I have connected several of these (indoors) to cheap basic Wi-Fi Wireless Smart Switches that link to Alexa, and now I can turn on spigots and set water timers from anywhere. I put a 5th gen Echo Dot (has built-in thermometer and now allows tasks based on temperature) in my barn, and created a routine that any time the temp falls below 36 the water to the barn turns off inside the house; and the water lines in the barn open to drain their water. I can turn on the water to my cattle trough and just say as I leave the barn "Alexa turn off cattle trough water in 15 minutes" and she does. Same with water sprinklers, etc.

So far a great product , installed on my slip tank fuel line so I can turn the fuel slip tank on the fly from the cab.

I have a salt water aquarium. I have been trying to figure out how to raise my ph. It has been hovering around 7.3-7.5. I would like for it to be around 8.2. I tried the macroalgae, but it just kept dying. I read about CO2 scrubbers and bought the supplies to try it. The problem with the CO2 scrubber is that you are essentially taking all the CO2 out of the room where the aquarium is located. As a result, the media does not last but a week or two at most. I saw a video suggesting recircling the air from the protein skimmer since that air already has been scrubbed to a certain degree. It was suggested that this would make the media last longer. Also, there were suggestions to use a silenoid or a ball valve to allow the aquarim's computer (assuming you have such a thing) to control the ph level. I decided to go the ball valve instead of a silenoid because of concerns of heat from the silenoid. I have been using this product for several weeks now. When the ph gets to 8.23, the computer turns on the ball valve and it opens to allow room air into the protein skimmer until the ph lowers to 8.20. Then the ball valve closes. So far it has been rock solid. I am thinking of getting another one as a back up in case I need to replace it quickly. It has turned out to be that important of a piece of equipment. Ph control is very important to hard corals in a salt water tank. I would hate to have an aquarium full and then lose this little unit and have the ph drop to below 7 and kill all the expensive stuff in the tank. Highly recommend.

I bought this 1/4" NPT motorized valve as a backup for 2 identical valves that I installed over 2 years ago. They are still working so this one is sitting on the shelf "just in case." I installed this as a soap valve on my pressure washer along with a wireless remote that I also purchased from Amazon. This keeps me from having to walk to my pressure washer to turn the soap on or off. I can just pull the remote out of my pocket and press the button. The valve opens when you apply 12v dc. It automatically closes when you turn the 12v dc off. I do flush the valve with clear water after I use it so it should keep working for many years to come.

Bought 11 of these. I'm running water at 60psi thru these valves. Powering with 24vac 3.0amp transformer. The well feeding these valves is full of heavy sediment. It spits out mud water and small 1mm-3mm rocks on the regular. For the first 6 weeks: Each one cycled 5 times a day for 6 weeks. For the next 2 weeks: Each one cycled 3 times a day, After the first 8 weeks: Each one now cycles twice every other day. All 11 valves are still working great and I haven't had any problems with any of them. If something changes with their reliability, I'll update my review. Will I buy more? yep
