Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd you steal our garbage?!!

This game is seriously so much fun, it's adorable like the television show. The little dancing Finn and Jake do is too funny. It's back and forth style playing, easy to understand and the controls are simple. It's got a story but it's short. This has replay-ability because it's fun, but it's a short game that some would enjoy once then exchange. It's all in the type of gamer you are.

Game is short but very fun and well written. Definitely worth 20 bucks if you're a fan of Adventure Time. Beating unlocks Hard mode if you're interested in that. Took me about 6 hours to complete playing casually over a weekend.

Great game. Seriously, everything it does, is done well. It was quite a trip, and I got it cheap so it was even more worth it. Singular downside - it was short. Like an afternoon or two to 100%. Other than that, it wasn't extremely in depth, but considering the length it's fine. 100% recommend if you like the show or even if you like silly games. It's worth it.

This game is a clone of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, but worse. In the beginning of the game there are some fun bits with the Adventure Time characters like LSP and Hot Dog Princess. But later in the game, you get none of that. Just boring, crappy, action platforming. It's ridiculously short and easy. Only small children who like Adventure Time, and can't tell a good video game from a bad one, will enjoy this.

I recently got AT for Hannukah, and I am incredibly pleased with the game. As Hey Ice King is based on the Cartoon Network TV show, I was skeptical about the gameplay at first. However, it works perfectly with the game's light feel and colorful graphics. Finn's moveset is simple and easy to execute, if a bit small and limited, and running and jumping through the stages has a really nice, bouncy feel to it that reminds me of Mario games. The game also has an ingenious inventory system that I've never seen anything like. For example, in most side-scrolling action games, health drops give an immediate partial refill. However, in Hey Ice King, an apple dropped by an enemy goes to your inventory on the bottom screen, where it can be consumed later for health. Additionally, food items can be combined into other snacks that refill even more hearts. Another interesting feature of this game is the two perspectives- overworld and platforming/battle stages. This is why I compare it to Zelda 2, as it is obvious that the developers took inspiration from that game. The music is fantastic, especially the title theme and (spoiler alert) the Marceline boss battle song, and the graphics and frame rate are vibrant and smooth. However, it is not perfect. The game can feel monotonous when passing from area to area via side-scrolling transition stages. This is especially true during a collecting quest during the second quarter of the game. However, once you get a boat, passing from area to area is easier. Another problem is that the story is not especially deep and is incomprehensible to non-fans of Adventure Time. I am a teenaged guy (using parent's Amazon account) Adventure Time junkie, so this was not a problem for me. The difficulty level fluctuates, especially during the final boss battle, when the game goes from mildly challenging to infuriatingly, ridiculously hard. It offers a nice feeling of accomplishment, but in the second quest (another nod to the Legend of Zelda), where you replay the game but all enemies have double life, it is virtually impossible. All in all, this was a great game, but not one for Adventure Time newbies or easily-frustrated gamers. I definitely recommend it.

Amazing game that makes you feel like it could be an episode on the show. Gameplay is classic RPG style, very easy for a child to play. Enjoyable for fans of the series, and the ending hints to a sequel that I hope happens!!!! Love the game, great for fans! Highly recommend. 5/5

I purchased this game as a Christmas gift for my son, so needless to say he hasn't played it yet, but from the reviews that I've checked out before making a purchase I'd have to say he's probably gonna enjoy it. I can't wait to see the look on his face Christmas morning.

This game is basically Castlevania for kids, and not in a bad way. This game plays very similarly to the old school side scrollers when you transition between zones in the game. It's about takes about 5-8 hours to beat the game. This game was definitely worth what I paid for it. All of the Adventure Time jokes are still in here and then-some. I am 22 and very thoroughly enjoyed this game.

This game does not work on uk 3DS, it did not state this in the product description. I only found out when looking at the back of the box.

El detalle del 3d esta muy bien logrado, los niveles tienen una dificultad aceptable sin ser frustantes, con la aparicion de muchos personajes de la serie,el juego esta a un precio muy bueno, y es recomendable en todo sentido, lo compre junto con scribblenauts y ambos juegos llegaron en buen estado y aunque fue un poco mas tardado de lo normal es aceptable. el juego esta solo en ingles por cierto, aun asi muy pero muy recomendable, ademas de una duracion aceptable y buena rejugabilidad.

If you love the show you will love this game. At first it was a bit boring but that didn't last long! The more awesome moves you learn for Jake, the better it gets. Couldn't put it down.

Better than you'd think for a game based on a TV show. Played through it several times, you'll enjoy it even if you haven't seen the show

3DS版、DS版のレビューを読んで手持ちの3DSで作動するらいしと購入しましたが、我が家では作動しませんでした。子供がとても楽しみにしていたのに、本当に残念です。どうしたら動くのでしょうか？教えて欲しいです。 追記：その後ネットで調べたところ、日本の3DSは海外の3DSソフトはダメだけど、海外版DSソフトなら大丈夫と判明。同タイトルのDS版をAmazonで買い直したところ、ちゃんと作動しました！3DS版の方は返品手続きもできそうなので、結果オーライです。
