Great Handheld Vacuum...with a Couple Nits...
I like the ONE+ stuff from Ryobi. This one is handy, small for a truck camper application. The battery obviously is interchangeable with other ONE+ stuff I own. Couple issues though. It does not "suck" as well as I would like. Especially without the included narrowing "blade" attachment, it will barely lift things in a rug. If its a rugged indoor/outdoor rug, forget it. Truck use in the cab, its marginal for normal foot debris. In my shop, it works very well. Also, the switch is ON/OFF with no spring-loaded pulse-on function. Its fine as it works, but I would have liked a pulse function to not just leave it on the whole time when using it. like other Ryobi drills and products. Why they used a sliding click switch, I don't know. It is somewhat loud, so that's one reason I would have used a pulse switch I suppose. However, it is real easy to clean, simple to operate, handy, and versatile, and I would recommend it (with the aforementioned caveats).

Excellent for light duty use around the house.
I really like the Ryobi One Plus set of tools for light duty home use. I find these tools so handy for use around the house. This little hand vac is great for picking stuff up around the house and has plenty of power. The handheld flashlight is also very useful and the blower has no problems clearing my 30' x 12' back porch of dirt and debris. So easy to use. I only have one battery so far but really haven't needed another though you can get more and bigger if you like. The price is right too. Love this. I'm sure I'll be buying more One Plus tools.Obviously, these are not contractor/professional grade tools but it doesn't come with that price tag either. I didn't buy it for that and I'm not rating it for that. For it's intended uses Ryobi One Plus gets 5 stars.

Nice hand vac
Uses power tool batteries, so if one runs low, slap in another. Suction is ok to good, could be stronger but is perfectly serviceable, overall happy with the purchase. Last hand vac was a Black & Decker which really had a great suction unit but the battery died and it was going to be project to pull it apart and find new batteries to solder in, so I ditched it, got this.

Handy cleaner
This portable vacuum has great suction power and functionality. The battery life seems to last a decent amount of time. The noise level isn’t quiet by any means but isn’t crazy loud. Haven’t experienced any clogs yet and it really comes in handy around the house and the RV. The design is great and ergonomic.

5 years and still going strong!
We also bought two batteries so when one charger goes down, we can quickly replace it. We don’t always have to plug in the vac. Great vac! We use it all the time for pets hair, small accidents, broken glass, all the small pick me ups at the house and for our car. Still have both original batteries, too.

Good Product, Bad Ad, Worse Seller
We love everything Ryobi makes! This hand held vacuum is no exception. Lightweight & excellent power for something so small. BUT the seller is VERY misleading with 3/4’s of the photos & all of the product video reviews included the ‘crevice device’. I contacted Amazon & they put me in touch with the seller. The seller said the crevice device was not included. Very disappointing. The vacuum was $90 w/o battery (which we knew) & no crevice device!! How am I supposed to clean out my car?? Amazon offered to send me a return label but what a pain that is. Amazon is great, this tool seller company gets a C-in customer service.

Great value, works very well for car
This vacuum actually works really well. The suction doesn't seem that impressive but the amount of dust it pulled out of my cars carpet was insane. I thought my car was somewhat clean but this think sucked up a ton of really fine dust. I'm very happy with my purchase. It's easy to use and I have at least 6 18v Ryobi batteries for other tools so it fits my life well.

Ryobi makes a solid Vac, I have the old version and the new one
I had the older version of this vac (blue) and it's filter wore out. I couldn't find a replacement filter at a decent price so I bought the newer Ryobi vac eventually. It was hard to pull the trigger as it seems a bit expensive to me, but it does have many filtering improvements and a crevice tool that make it very nice. The wife kept buying other brands that break constantly and has spent more overall by far for broken vacs then I have on the Ryobi.. She finally went all out and bought the Dysan, and it's very nice. Makes the Ryobi vac look like a really good deal. My old Ryobi is still going strong, I'll probably mod it with some new filter material when I run across something in my daily activities that will work. Still use the old Ryobi in the shop, and the new one in the house for wood stove cleanup.
