- Eye Cream Gel for Dark Circles and Puffiness with Peptides & Hyaluronic Acid, 0.5 fl. oz.

This eye gel is incredible. I have been using it for the past several months. I consider myself a bit of a skincare guru and I have tried many things and have paid a range of prices. This eye gel has by far been the best. My only concern is that my facialist told me that any product used more than three months loses its potency (that has not been my experience with this product however) and she recommended switching products every three months and then once those three months are up, you can switch back to what you were initially using. I have been bad though and have definitely used this beyond three months because it's just that good and I can't find anything to take turns with it! If Amara made a second eye gel or cream, I would take turns with that one. I have told all of my girlfriends how great this eye gel is. I am in mid 30s and it does wonders. I truly believe it has taken years off my eye area. It firms, it lifts, it tightens, brightens and cools, and moisturizes. What more could you ask for and at the price too? Crow's feet actually disappear!! If you are familiar with the science behind the ingredients and what purposes they serve, it should be no surprise that Amara has done it again with this incredible eye gel. Other eye creams feel nice but are so pricey and don't have the same potent cocktail of all the right ingredients (peptide, Vitamin E, etc.) and therefore do not produce the same noticeable results. The eye area (for men too but I am speaking about women here) is a much dryer part of our face and shows aging sooner so we really don't have time to mess around and be a guinea pig because time is not on our side. I also highly recommend their Advanced Age Defying Moisturizer with Fruit Stem Cells.

Call me nuts but this helps with the puffiness around the eyes...not so much with the dark circles

For the longest time, I couldn't figure out why my eyes felt tired and heavy all the time, with my vision blurring constantly while wearing contacts through a long day. At first, my doctor said it may be due to my oily eyelids, but I thoroughly cleanse that area and the problem still remained. After doing some research online, some people suggested that their eye cream may be seeping into their eyes from their undereye area and causing the blurry vision! It made total sense and I have completely stopped using creams! I now use eye gels, and the problem has significantly improved. My eyes don't feel as heavy anymore, and I find the blurring occurs much less. Now finding a good eye gel with ingredients known to moisturize and address issues like aging and dark circles was the challenge. I'm so glad there's Amazon because looking around, I found that eye gels weren't that commonly sold in stores. I used Soothing Eye Gel with anti-aging Pycnogenol?0.50 Ounces by Derma-E first because I liked that their company uses mostly natural ingredients, it was at a good price and was so lightweight. But after a while, I just wanted something more moisturizing and I found this Amara Eye Gel. Usually when it comes to these unknown brands on Amazon, I'm very wary of the fantastic and possible paid, reviews they get. I ordered it anyway, and it's been working out great so far! The Amara eye gel is thicker than the watery consistency of derma e's, but absorbs into the skin just as quickly. After it dries, the skin feels softer, but I can also feel a slight residue comparing it to my bare skin. I don't personally experience any cooling sensation or find that it helps with puffiness, but I do see an instant softening of creases and dryness on my undereye area after applying it. Their instructions also suggest that you apply this not just under the eyes, but all over your face, including your forehead. I'm so glad I did because it's helped with my breakouts!! I've also had a recurring problem with getting breakouts from clogged pores on my forehead. No matter how many times I washed it, no matter how clean I kept my hair and my pillow cases, no matter what type of cleanser I used, and no matter what moisturizer I used, I kept getting annoying breakouts. Just like with my eyes, it never occurred to me that lotions and creams may be causing the problem. I've used so many moisturizers ranging from all-natural, to drug store, to more higher end like Murad, but I still kept getting breakouts. After trying a gel for my forehead area, I realized the problem was creams and lotions all along and that no matter how lightweight or non-comedogenic they claimed to be, they clogged my pores. I will never use a cream on my forehead again because using a gel has decreased the number of breakouts significantly. I'm also relieved that the anti-aging ingredients will hopefully improve the condition of the skin in that area too. While the ingredients for the Amara eye gel sound magical (plant stem cells??), I have yet to notice any dramatic change in the reduction of dark circles or wrinkles. It's okay though, because this product has helped me in so many other ways and I'm a happy customer!

I bought this on a Lightning Deal along with the Amara serum Amara Organics Vitamin C Serum for Face 20% with Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin E, 1 fl. oz. around Christmas 2015. I've used quite a few eye creams in my day and this stuff is decent. I like the consistency (not too thick but substantial enough -- I don't like my face creams to be too watery) and it has a nice, subtle smell (I HATE overpowering smells). Funny story: the day both Amara products were delivered I didn't have a chance to use them because I was at a friend's birthday party. I stayed up *really* late and drank waaaay too much. The next day I was crazy hungover and on like 3 hours of sleep. I washed my face and used this eye cream and the corresponding serum. Hadn't seen my girlfriend all day cause of work schedules and yet when she saw me that evening the first thing she said was "wow, you look young!" That's honestly true. I SHOULD have looked like the Crypt Keeper given the night I had, but there you go -- coincidence or are these products magical?! Probably not. I think the jury is still out as to whether "anti-aging" products actually DO anything (or do anything close to what they claim). I personally like the ritual of using face products and am hoping they really do work in some capacity. In that vein I will continue to buy and use reasonably-priced products that have relatively basic ingredients that are vegan and don't test on animals. But I'm not sure these Amara products really did anything noticeable on a long-term basis (I've been using them for like 3 months now). I didn't notice any change in puffiness or darkness under my eyes. My biggest problem, however, is this: THE STUPID PUMP BROKE! SEE MY PIC! And the bottle is a really hard plastic that I don't think I can cut open without hurting myself, so I DON'T KNOW IF I'VE USED ALL OF THIS CREAM! I usually like to cut my bottles open with a scissors to get one last usage (like with shampoo or toothpaste) but there's a seal inside the bottle under the cap and as mentioned it's not like a tube of toothpaste -- this bottle is really hard, thick plastic. Anyway, I've thus decided to go back to Acure eye cream Eye Cream Chlorella Edelweiss Stem Cell Acure Organics 1.0 oz Cream since it comes in a cut openable tube, has simple ingredients and is reasonably priced. I've used that brand before and am happy with it. I guess the Amara pump dispenser is a deal-breaker for me since I don't know if I'm getting my money's worth.

Just opened my second bottle and LOVE that it is now clear.....that was my only gripe about the this lovely product previously. The new design allows you to see how much product is remaining in the dispenser. I'm not sure how much this actually reduces dark circles....and, that's not the main reason I purchased the product in any case. I am 62 years old have been searching for a light product to help with the puffiness and fine lines that come with this age. The dispenser is easy to use. It takes a couple of applications to discover how much of the gel you will need. The first couple of times, I dispensed a bit too much and had product left over that I simply applied to my neck. The product is an opaque gel. It has a light, cucumber scent. A little goes a long way! The product is easy to apply and goes on quite smoothly. If you wait a few minutes before following up with a moisturizer....you can feel the product tightening the skin as it sets. I no longer wait to apply my moisturizer as I figure the moisturizer will simply "soften" up the "set" of eye cream/gel. This was an interesting observation....something good is happening! I have used this product now for several months and do notice a reduction in the puffiness and fine lines around my eyes. It is a quality product that is reasonably priced. I also appreciate that the company follows up each purchase with an email to make sure you understand how to use the product, and then again to see how the product is working. That's a level of customer service that's hard to come by today!

I wanted to use it for at least 30 days before writing a review. I can't do a fair review, unless I explain how I use it to get amazing results. I use 4 of their products at the same time. -Total Repair Eye Gel -Vitamin C Serum -Retinal Serum -Advanced Age-Defying Moisturizer So, I will explain how I use them and my results. To get the best out of these products I suggest doing microdermabrasion first. It will remove all the dead skin and allow the products to penetrate deeper. On a daily bases, I use the Total Repair Eye Gel every morning and every night. I use the Vitamin C Serum every morning, along with the Advanced Age-Defying Moisturizer, then I apply Aveeno Positively Radiant SPF 30. I used the Retinal Serum and Advanced Age-Defying Moisturizer at night. Make sure to exfoliate your skin every other day to get rid of the dead skin that will be servicing. I also started doing micro needling twice a month at home, using a .75 roller (best for acne scars and wrinkles). It helps the products penetrate deeper. You can get it on Amazon. Do your research on it first. You can message me, if you want more information on how I use it. After a month, my skin is glowing! Under my eyes the skin is firm and I have zero lines. I didn't really have any darkening, so I'm using it more as a preventive measure. Now, my makeup goes on silky smooth. I have actually stopped wearing as much makeup, because my skin is so radiant. I'm just using a tinted moisturizer for daily wear. I also have had these deep lines on my neck since I was a teenager and the lines are getting less noticeable. Hopefully, they disappear over time. Note: The first couple of weeks my skin was flaking a little. So, for a couple of days I just used the Aveeno moisturizer only. That helped stop the flaking. Then, I went back to the products. There was no more flaking after that.

I've tried many many products from drug store to high end so I can compare with some degree of experience trying face and eye creams. This one ranks below even the least expensive budget brands. I've given it quite awhile to notice a difference and my under eye area has definitely gotten WORSE because I stopped using my other products to try this... also, I have gotten a few bumps on my eyelids and under eye areas since using (never had this before and others have mentioned the same side effect!?) Very disappointed. Also, to see any real change with any product you have to use it for several weeks which puts you beyond their return window of 30 days. Any seller who believed in their product would stand by it and offer a return policy which allows the customer to see the product results (or, lack of, in this case). I'm not sure what's in this but it doesn't compare in any way to any other eye cream I've used. There was an enclosed note saying something to the effect of this purchase supporting a family instead of an already wealthy business.... I thought that was wonderful and was even more excited to try it! But I'm realizing the large companies also spend a lot more money formulating and testing their products and using high quality (expensive) ingredients. I've already been using those products so, unfortunately, the contrast in quality of this product is quite obvious.

I started using this in late July, it is now late September, and I have no results for my under eye problems. I know that with YEARS of being exposed to the nature, the elements, and simple aging takes time to help in a positive direction. I wasn't expecting any miracles or overnight results, but I did expect a little bit of something to happen. It didn't take, but I did give it a good try. I was happy, however, to notice it gave wonderful results in healing bug bites quickly (hint-keep it cold in your vegetable drawer-it's organic, so I didn't even give a thought to any kind of contamination to my food), and I was thrilled with that! I think the fact that it's a gel might have been the reason I didn't get results. I'm now starting to wonder if I shouldn't have kept this in the fridge all along. Maybe it would have worked better.

Well ladies. I am 65 and always looked young for my age and keep myself fit but no matter what you do you cant stop time!! However not wanting to be a plastic pod person I like as much natural on my face as I can, as most cosmetics contain nasty parabens and phthalates and other things that are NO good for you. So decided to try this product. Some organics I find are good for you but don't work!! However this contains a lot of the most proven ingredients that can help with aging and as this is natural I was drawn to this product. I have been using it for a while and decided to write a review AFTER a bottle was used and see whats what. Well I have ordered a second one. I used it with vitamin C cream in the Amara range as that helps produce the collagen that is the elasticity in the face. Don't forget to put it at the side of the jaw where the ear joins!!! A lot of people don't and that can produce horrid wrinkles!!! The cream is light, not too sticky with a pleasant smell but not overpowering and its texture is lovely. It definitely seems to have improved under my eye wrinkles and outer crows feet area and I use it just once a day after cleansing and toning and then after its absorbed I use a moisturiser. Its really helped, and is holding its own so well pleased. A lady at my mothers home thought I was about 18 years younger than I really am!!! Wahay!!!. So give it a whirl and give it time.

Je ne vois pas d'effet sur les cernes ou gonflements, et j'ai l'impression qu'il approfondit les ridules sous les yeux en fait. Sous l'effet de la texture collante et épaisse, quand on fronce le visage et qu'on relâche, les ridules en ressortent approfondies et deux fois plus marquées. Et plus je m'en sers, plus je commence à ressentir une sensation de brûlure à l'application. J'étais intéressée par les produits Amara Organics à cause des milliers de commentaires positifs sur leurs produits sur Amazon US, mais je m'interroge maintenant sur le fait qu'il n'y a pratiquement aucun vlogger sur Youtube qui en parle, ni aucun blog ou site beauté sur Google.

I have used plenty of eye cream/ gel products in the past. Was a bit sceptical before buying this due to my very sensitive skin. I am allergic to most cosmetic products under the sun, yes, I am allergic to the sun too 😣😣😣 I have now been using this for about 2 wks, no allergic reaction, itchiness, redness like I get with most products I am allergic to. Very impressive! I love the consistency too, I have always used eye gel, if I used eye cream that's too rich, it will cause little annoying milia under my eyes that make me look like my cholesterol is too high.... Yes, my cholesterol is actually high but that's beside the point. I love this product so much that I will look into buying other product range. Highly recommended!! P.S I am 49
