I’m really happy with this knife set, especially for the price. It’s very affordable but doesn’t feel cheap at all. The knives arrived incredibly sharp right out of the box and have made meal prep so much easier. The handles are comfortable to hold and provide a secure grip.I also love the classic design of the knife block and knives themselves. it looks clean and timeless on my countertop and fits in with any kitchen style. Overall, this is an excellent value for the quality you get. I would definitely recommend this knife block set to anyone looking for a reliable, attractive, and budget-friendly knife set.

These are great knives.Sharp as can be.Be careful.Wash delicately & don't put them down point first in dishwasher. Lay them down flat. The point is sharp and could bend or get bent. Point is sharp as hell and thin.But very hardy strong knives

I thought this brand was Japanese, so I almost returned when I saw Made in India. The block is beautiful, the knives came sharp and there’s a good variety without being overwhelming. The quality is not 100% consistent, but for general use at this price they are just fine. I couldn’t never seem to get our old knife set sharp again, so this is an improvement for us and probably would be for you too.

Loved the knives Sharp and ready to use.

This is a decent set of what I would consider to be starter knives. We purchased a set for our vacation rental home and a second for our son when he was moving into his own place. They are basic knives that you could get away with if you aren’t doing a ton of cooking but you would probably want to fill in with a few other utility knives, as I did even for the rental, if you cook daily. They seemed sharp on the first few uses but they don’t hold the edge so maybe the steel isn’t the best quality. The real reason for three stars is due to the return policy from this seller. We accidentally ordered two sets for our son and the return shipping cost is a good percentage of the purchase price; it’s not like most Amazon sellers who have free returns. We ended up keeping them rather than lose money because we figure we will need to replace them soon.

I grew tired of going for a knife only to find that what we had were dull, pitted and bent tips. So I gathered them all up, sorted through them and threw the worst of the worst out. Discovered long ago that those expensive knife sharpeners don’t work either. So I purchased this set as a throwaway set. I’ll use them until they too have seen thier better days and then buy another set.

I’ve always had Henkels. I recently moved on my own and ordered these. Absolutely the best knives out there. Very sharp well made.

Very attractive storage. Good assortment of knives. The knives are a little light in weight but cut well. Good value for the money.

So I naively thought that although made in India and China, a Henckels knife set would be of good quality - the answer is "absolutely not". The knives are all thin and flimsy - they look and feel cheap. In this product, I feel, Henckels have managed to take a historically legendary brand and destroy this in my eyes in on product and I have to honestly say that my Ikea knives are far superior.It was a terrible buy - learn from my mistake.
