Better Price
It's the same Romex that I bought at the big box store but less expensive. I think most will agree that copper wire has become too expensive in the last few years, so it helps if you can save some money for those DIY projects.

Great cable… but!
Overall, the cable is good for the price. The outer casing of the cable is quite fragile. On several occasions, it broke when being inserted into the junction boxes. You need to handle it with great care.

It’s Romex!
Same wire at a much better price than local stores.

Good for the price
We bought this spool of romex cable when we did some renovations to our house and needed to pull new electrical wires for light switches and outlets. Make sure to buy the correct gauge wires to match your requirements and circuit breaker sizes. We recommend buying the next size up if possible because it' better to have more than less esp if you're working in hard to reach areas. Also, it was cheaper buying online than the local hardware stores.

Prices have gone up
Nothing special to write about. It does its job. Prices of these have gone up exponentially lately and have become so expensive.

Within spec. It worked. Cheaper than Lowe’s or Home Depot’s

Conterfeit
This product does not look at all like the same wire in the hardware store. The insulation is thin and cheap and most likely a fire hazard. Stay away at all costs.

Poor quality
This wire is not as good quality as most 14/2 wire. It also doesn’t strip properly .... it is smaller diameter than proper wire and has paper insulation. I will not buy again.

Not CSA approved. Very flimsy and potentially unsafe
Left in my photo is this wire. Right is the same gauge CSA approved wire from RONA. Huge difference in feel and durability. This wire can puncture and short extremely easily compared to the harder outer case of the CSA approved wire of the same brand. Watch yourself.

Only buy if you're planning on remodeling your house in the States!
UL listed. Not approved for use in Canada. The company that makes it "Southwire" also makes one that is CSA approved. You can buy it at Home Depot, Rona. So why is the product for use in Canada not sold on a Canadian website?!?! 🤔 Makes lots of sense doesn't it. RETURNED!
